IN the first episode of my 1500 mile solo sailing journey, I set off from Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) and navigate my way out of the Sea of Cortez. We took SV Zanadu, our 1983 Catalina 30 Tall Rig, and new crew on a sail to the cove in Westlake Park, and had a great time with our website subscribers on Lewisville Lake Texas. First time sailing crew and returning crew are on this trip. We had to tack up wind, close hauled to get there but it was worth it.
