I woke up early in our camper at Cwmtydu, while Jane was still asleep, and set out to explore a hidden cove a local had told me about. But instead of finding the stack she described… I wandered 2.5km the wrong way along the rugged Welsh coast! Also the time came to install the drive leg back on Checkers and put 3 coats of black anti-foul on to finish the job. Now its time to launch where things don't go quite as planned. 🐠 Apnée paisible au Racou – Entre pyramides et paysages sous-marins Je vous propose de m’accompagner sur une apnée tranquille à la plage du Racou, à Argelès‑sur‑Mer, pour observer la faune et la flore méditerranéennes . Une immersion visuelle qui invite à la lenteur, à la contemplation et à la relaxation. Sur la plage du Racou se dressent d’étranges pyramides de béton, vestiges de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Ces structures triangulaires d’environ 2 m de hauteur, a priori installées dans les années 1943–44, auraient fait partie d’un dispositif allemand de littoral fortifié pour retarder un débarquement allié sur la côte catalane . But then we make a rather drastic decision – to sell our sailboat, Lady Four, and everything changes. 💔 Now we’re standing in Germany without a boat, without a home, and without a place to put all our stuff. So we rent a car, find a storage unit, and try to figure things out from there. Are we crazy? 😅 Maybe! ⛵️ Is this the end of our sailing journey? NO! We're planning to buy a bigger boat, something that makes full-time liveaboard life a bit easier and more suited to our long-term adventure.
