Building internal systems from scratch?! It's not an easy feat. We're pushing to get out of the Marina and live on anchor as soon as we can manage, but we also happen to be LIVING on the site that we're working. This means we'll need power, fresh running water, a functioning toilet and waste management systems before we motor out of here. In this video I carry out a full service on my Yanmar 3JH2E boat engine aboard my sailboat, a Hunter Legend 376 What started as a simple maintenance job quickly turned into one of those typical boat days… where nothing goes exactly as planned. During this service I change the engine oil, oil filter, diesel fuel filters, and bleed the diesel system before starting the engine again. If you own a Yanmar marine diesel engine, this is a real-life look at basic maintenance you’ll eventually need to do on your boat. And yes… there are spills, frustration, and a few things going wrong along the way. Just another normal day of boat maintenance.
