Bienvenue dans un nouveau volet des Carnets de voyage du capitaine ⛵✨ Dans cette vidéo, je vous emmène au port de pêche de Monastir pour découvrir les coulisses du carénage d’un voilier et toute la préparation nécessaire avant une nouvelle saison de navigation. L’aventure débute par le convoyage du catamaran d’un ami jusqu’au chantier : attente de la sortie d’eau, mise à terre et calage du bateau, des étapes indispensables pour intervenir en toute sécurité sur la coque et les équipements. Je partage également le départ de plusieurs amis navigateurs pour la saison 2026, toujours un moment particulier dans la vie d’un port et du monde de la plaisance. Vous découvrirez ensuite le carénage d’Antécume : nettoyage de la coque, contrôle des œuvres vives, inspection de l’hélice, des anodes et entretien général du bateau. Le carénage est une étape essentielle puisqu’il permet d’éliminer algues et coquillages, d’améliorer les performances sous voile et de préserver la coque sur le long terme grâce notamment à l’antifouling. Au programme également : la révision moteur, mais aussi l’entretien des winches, ces équipements mécaniques indispensables à bord permettant de manœuvrer les voiles plus facilement et avec davantage de sécurité. Leur nettoyage et graissage régulier garantissent un fonctionnement fiable lors des prochaines navigations. Je vous présente aussi l’installation du Victron Smart Orion DC-DC 12/30A sur la batterie de service lithium d’Antécume. Ce chargeur intelligent régule l’énergie provenant de l’alternateur moteur afin d’assurer une recharge adaptée aux batteries lithium, tout en protégeant l’installation électrique et l’alternateur. Un équipement devenu presque incontournable sur les voiliers modernes équipés en lithium. Since that moment, we’ve been fully immersed in boat life, documenting the journey of turning a production cruising sailboat into a capable, self-sufficient home as we prepare for full-time liveaboard life. The Range Rover Sardinia Cup continues to deliver.    After a demanding offshore race that pushed crews into survival mode at times, the fleet returned to windward-leeward racing today in classic Mistral conditions off Porto Cervo. The breeze built throughout the day, rewarding sharp boat handling and making every second count.    North-powered teams continued to perform across both divisions. In SC1, James Neville's Ino Veritas extended its overall lead, with Django WR and Jolt 3 also firmly in the mix. In SC2, Ran leads overall, followed by Django JP, making it another strong day for North-powered teams.    "The work from our designers, specialists and production team is showing on the racecourse," says North expert Giulio Desiderato. "A lot of teams using our product are performing very well, and that's rewarding to see."    Two more windward-leeward races are scheduled tomorrow before the regatta concludes with the coastal race.    #SardiniaCup #NorthSails #Sailing #portocervo
