Based on the successes of the first Truly Classic 128 Atalante and TC128-2 Vijonara built at Pendennis, a third TC 128 has been built a SES yachts in Turkey, with hull construction at Bloemsma. The options available for the Truly Classic 128 are clearly illustrated aboard the latest interpretation of the design with the owner requesting a single deckhouse and a steering position set well aft. Her design again shares the same hull lines but has a different sailplan deck and interior layout. In addition, this yacht will be unusual in that she has a fractional sailplan, which should provide her with a sparkling performance in light winds. The spreaders are swept back, so that only one set of runners and staysails are required. The boom will be of Park Avenue type for easy sail handling. Under the water a torpedo-style T-bulb keel has been carefully designed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and positioned slightly further aft so that it relates to the mast step position and the machinery space positioned slightly further aft in this yacht. With a spade rudder and no skeg this yacht, which has a similar righting moment to that of a J-Class, will be a powerful and exciting sailing yacht. Down below the deckhouse saloon has been moved aft and the classical styling throughout is from our own Hoek Design team. Im Januar kommen wir auf den Kanaren an. Von La Linea nach Lanzarote - Sieben Tage auf See müssen wir erstmal aufarbeiten. Wir sind nun schon acht Monate auf den Kanaren - wo wollen wir hin, wie geht es uns hier und der ständige Streit um den Süßwasserverbrauch an Bord..

Im Sommer 2021 paddelten wir zu viert auf der alten Oder. Unsere Boote, ein Grabner Riverstar und ein Gumotex Rush 2, leisteten uns gute Dienste. Somit konnten wir die 3 Tage auf dem Wasser in vollen Zügen genießen.

We sail our Whitby 42 Ketch from Fitzroy Island to the northern most stop of our Great Barrier Reef cruising at the city of Cairns. Here we nervously, navigate the narrow, twisting entry to Bluewater Marina up a mangrove lined creek. It is very shallow in places and a bit daunting, particularly at low tide, but the winding creek makes this the most cyclone secure marina on the tropical coast.
