Lovely sail in my friend Gary’s Tradewind 35 from Rubicon marina in Lanzarote to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria , Ines and I did some sightseeing also 😊⛵️

Short video this week , there was a regata on in the bay so the anchorage had to be empty so we moved Dream away into PORTIMÃO marina , got lots of maintenance done and got my outboard engine running perfectly again . Ines drove us to Alcotim on the Guadiana River to check it out as a possible winner location?

This week we are in Les Sables-d'Olonne France for the start of the GGR race , lovely to be there to wish my brother Pat Bon voyage and spend time with family and friends, we also enjoyed seeing local attractions and being tourists 😊⛵️

This week we take it easy in A Coruna north Spain after crossing the bay of Biscay last week from Ireland, getting lots of maintenance jobs done and getting the bus to Lisbon, we fly from Lisbon to Les Sables-d'Olonne in France for the start of the GGR Race 😊⛵️

In this weeks video we get new canvas for Dream away our Kelly Peterson 44 and then make out way to kilmore quay on Co Wexford Ireland , wait for a good weather window and sail to A Coruna north Spain 🇪🇸 Super trip 😊⛵️

Last week we sailed from Ardfern in Scotland and this week we sail down the east coast of Ireland to Arklow Co. Wicklow , great trip , stopping in Carlingford Lough and Dun Laoghaire and arriving in Arklow 😊⛵️

Bought a new boat in Ardfern Scotland , a 1982 Westwind 35 , also known as the Young Sun 35, in this video Ines and myself sail to the island of Gigha and then on to Bangor in Belfast lough .

This week we got a lot of work done on the Kelly Peterson 44 , go hiking as the weather in Ireland has been good this week,

The sale of Waxwing fell through unfortunately, big waste of time but she is sold now to a great guy Pete 😊 Sailed the Kelly Peterson to Arklow Co. Wicklow where I will finish getting her ready to sail to Spain and Portugal, she’s taking shape nicely 😊⛵️

This week I sold Waxwing , I’ll miss her but so happy that she has a super new owner , also means I can buy a suitable boat for the 2030 GGR race . Got alot of work done to the KP44

This week I move a Gran Sorel 52 sailboat to portimao boatyard and have her lifted out for the owner . On Waxwing I replaced a bilge pump and fitted a new water heater and replaced the galley worktop, then take a day off and visit Cabanas Tavira and Tavira in the algarve 😊⛵️
