När något oväntat händer är det svårt att ha en plan. Men jag har fått många frågor om vad som händer nu, så låt oss prata lite om det. Just nu är vi tillbaka i Sverige och tar dagen som den kommer. Vårt fokus är att ta en sak i taget och vara i nuet. Det har vi faktiskt blivit ganska bra på efter två år av båtliv. Samtidigt har vi såklart funderat på hur det blir med båten och äventyret. Planen JUST NU är att återvända till Karibien om ungefär en månad. Beroende på hur vi mår, hur allt känns, hur världsläget är och hur vädret ser ut kanske vi fortsätter västerut i år. Eller så stannar vi kvar i Karibien. Vi vet helt enkelt inte exakt än, och det är okej. En sak vi verkligen lärt oss under två år som heltidsresande är att man kan ha en plan… men den ändras ofta. Det handlar lika mycket om mindset. Bestämmer man sig för tidigt för exakt vad som ska hända kan man lätt känna att man måste hålla fast vid det, även om det inte känns rätt längre. Vi känner att det kommer lösa sig och att det kommer bli bra, så länge vi är tillsammans. 💙⛵️ Resten får vi bestämma senare. Det fina med att ha ett flytande hem är ju faktiskt just det: Vi kan segla dit vi vill, på egen hand. 💙 Tack för att ni följer med oss på resan. Near the town of Karlovasi on Samos, we discovered a small chapel called Agios Nikolaos Chapel. It is often used for weddings because of its picturesque location on a cliff, overlooking the sunset. We parked our bikes and took a look inside the small chapel. We also regularly come across the name “Agios Nikolaos” during our travels through Greece; it refers to Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors.

When the pin from our Kong chain gripper went overboard, we were forced to rethink everything about how we attach our anchor bridle on our catamaran. What started as a problem quickly turned into a full-on experiment. Welcome aboard Osprey. It’s afternoon here in Cherbourg, France, and we’re continuing the steady work of preparing the boat for sea. In tonight's livestream, we’ll be working on installing and organizing the fuel transfer pump manifold, installing new interior lights and finishing a number of small, but important jobs around the boat. The goal is simple: within the next week, depart Cherbourg and sail solo across the Atlantic as a qualifying passage for the Global Solo Challenge.
