The highest stake race in my life for sure! Rytis and I made a bet that whoever gets beat by the other guy more times in a training session will have to do the following races in a tiny speedo, basically a g-string. My thighs have never seen the sun up to that day so I was motivated not to change that status but super light wind conditions and some "accidental" sabotage to my sail made it a hell of a fight! Who ended up flashing his full moons on the race course? Dive in and see!

Domani sveglia prima del gallo: alle 4 saremo inm navigazione verso Messina: prenderemo qualche bella raffica, ma per buona parte della rotta saremo vicinissimi alla bosta siciliana in modo da preteggerci, anche se poco, dalle "scoppole" del maestrale. This was extremely disappointing and mildly concerning. Of course, we wanted it to be resolved properly and that means we need to be lifted again. So Nakama, after being in the water for 3 days, is now back in the slip for repairs and hopefully this time, the saltwater will stay where it should. We are eager to show you what we have been brewing up in order to bring our 1980s sailboat into the 21st century. We have splurged on lots of new Raymarine instruments to change the way we sail on our old girl.
