In dieser Episode installiere ich eine gebrauchte Taylor's Dieselheizung auf meiner Beneteau First 375 „Scirocco“ in Kroatien, damit ich auch im Winter weiter segeln kann, statt das Boot einzuwintern. Dank der monatlichen Unterstützung meiner Community auf Patreon konnte ich mir diese stromlose Dieselheizung nach langer Suche günstig am österreichischen Gebrauchtmarkt leisten und nun endlich einbauen. Bei Bura und später starkem Jugo suche ich den besten Einbauort, schneide den Borddurchlass für den Schornstein und baue außen einen Holz-„Donut“, damit der Kamin trotz Dachschräge gerade sitzt. Mit Aushärtezeiten und finalem Test vor der Kamera dauert der gesamte Einbau ganze drei Tage – pünktlich zum Start der kalten Saison in Kroatien, in der über 90% der Boote schon an Land stehen. Die Taylor-Heizung läuft künftig oft im Dauerbetrieb, und in den nächsten Episoden von Sailing Scirocco gibt es immer wieder kurze Einblicke und meinen ehrlichen Erfahrungsbericht im Winterbetrieb.
