This is the much requested boat tour of our new to us boat, Nordhavn 64-01. We are the third owners of this boat. She has just undergone an extensive revamp of the salon, and, some much needed refreshing in the engine room and generally. As we have carried out the work and had the work done, we have had numerous requests for a boat tour. During an overcast day in Port Sidney BC, Canada we decided to get the video done. In one take using our Insta 360 X5 we shot this 29 min video of the boat. We did consider two episodes but decided to do one long video. I am sure we can do shorter episodes or shorts in the future. Following our decision to buy Nordhavn 64-01 we have embarked on an extensive plan to bring the old girl back to life. She has great bones but needs a refresh. We are glad to do this and also make her our own. We are using the extensive support of @yachttechinc1754 and James Knight and his team. While we sometimes have to fight for the resources, this is only because the trust boat owners have in the company to support them. Trustworthy support in the leisure boating industry is sometimes hard to find.

As we begin the road trip across the country to our new boat in Anacortes, we explain the reasons behind our decisions. Why we stopped cruising, why we sold our Nordhavn 62 and why we then bought another boat, the Nordhavn 64..... This is an intro towards the next video that has extensive repairs and upgrades and work being shown after we bought N64-01.
