On this episode of Onboard Lifestyle, the crew leaves the Grand Cayman Islands on a nearly 1,100 nautical mile passage across the Gulf. The first few days are text book until a low pressure system develops to the south, flipping the weather pattern on us. On this week's episode of Onboard Lifestyle, the crew pulls the damaged grounding cable while on a mooring in George Town, Grand Cayman Islands, then builds and replaces it with materials found in this British Territory. With the repair complete, we inspect and test our systems before deciding to prepare basik for the next passage for further evaluation. Basik's electrical system was damaged by lightning before we left which played havoc with our systems the entire way.
