Wrapping up the Oyster Antigua Regatta 2025. Four days of incredible racing, two pursuit races with different winners, exciting competition between the whole fleet and some of the best conditions ever had at an Oyster Regatta. Paired with memorable social events, rafting up Oyster 82 Midnight and 885 Lush side-by-side for sundowners, lunch at Green Island's The Reef, Little Jumby's The Hut and Southpoint's MAIA, finished off with a prizegiving for the books at Lucky Eddi's - this week has been one to remember. 27,000 nautical miles, 27 locations and 16 months later, the Oyster World Rally 2024-25 fleet completed their life-changing circumnavigation when they returned to Nelson's Dockyard, Antigua, on April 4th 2025. The fleet began their journey in January 2024, heading from Antigua through the Caribbean and into the Panama Canal. After stopovers in the Galapagos Islands and the Marquesas Islands, a 3,200-mile passage saw them arrive in French Polynesia for several weeks of exploration. Heading across to Australia, into Indonesia and then round the Cape of Good Hope to South Africa, it was in 2025 that they began the final stint. Enjoying the remote island of St Helena, carnival in Salvador and Recife and then a final cruise from Grenada back into Nelson's Dockyard to cross the finish line. Summing up a circumnavigation is not an easy task, but the memories and sentiment of the fleet remained autonomous - it truly was the adventure of a lifetime. An unforgettable experience. Transiting Panama Canal is on every sailor's bucket list- and for the Oyster World Rally 2024-25 fleet, their dreams have become a reality. One of the most complex marine transits in the world, the canal takes you from the tropical Caribbean Sea to the South Pacific Ocean, requiring high levels of confidence, expertise and support. Alongside the Panama Canal Authority, the Oyster World Rally Team assisted the fleet before and during the transit. Before assembling in Shelter Bay Marina at the top of the canal, the Rally Support team gathered paperwork organised visa requirements and worked with the Canal Authority time slots for yacht measuring ahead of the transit. On Sunday 14th January 2024, we spent a magical afternoon at Charlotte Point in Antigua to witness the start of the Oyster World Rally 2024-25. After an emotional and exciting morning in Nelson's Dockyard, His Excellency Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda fired the cannon and watched as 21 Oysters crossed the start line and began their journey of a lifetime. In this, our 50th anniversary of Oyster Yachts, we're looking back on a very special year. We started the year by making our return to boot Düsseldorf for the first time since the global pandemic. A very special event, as our stunning Oyster 595 was the envy of the show and our bluewater benchmark, the Oyster 495 was crowned the 2023 European Yacht of the Year, Luxury Cruiser. Production across all our sites has been relentlessly busy, with full build bays throughout the year. We've successfully launched 11 yachts into the water, and owners from across the globe have taken delivery, including two 885s, the 885GT and 885SII, and three 495s. April welcomed home the returning fleet of the Oyster World Rally 2022-23 into Antigua, back from their circumnavigation and adventure of a lifetime. This was followed by a special Antigua Regatta and the first of our 50th Anniversary Dinners, where owners past, present and future took stock of the last half a century and celebrated the night away. Gatherings in the Mediterranean are an Oyster staple, with an owner's rendezvous in Ibiza in the summer, then the Oyster Palma Regatta in September. It's been a year to remember and we thank you for your continued support as we head into the next 50 years.
