Razor. Alpha Shaving Works Shave Dad Aluminium Safety Razor. Soap. MMGP Thor, Shaving Soap. Blade. Euromax, Silvermax Shaving brush. Boti synthetic. In this video I'm performing a three pass shave. I begin by wetting my whiskers with warm water. I then spread the soap around the base of a smooth Shaving bowl. I then take a wet shaving brush to the soap and swirl the brush around the base in order to load the brush. I then proceed to build a nice lather. I then use the Shaving brush to apply the lather to my face. I loaded the razor with the Euromax razor blade. then performed my first Shaving pass, Shaving with the grain of growth. I repeated this procedure a further two times. But the second pass was across the grain and third pass was against the grain. I then rinsed my face with cold water and dried off, using a towel. I then applied my aftershave. This completed my shave. Come along and see how I get along with it. Please consider subscribing to my channel. Wir sind bereits seit über drei Wochen in. der Marina Hemingway, als es zappenduster wird. Blackout in Kuba. Diesmal landesweit.

We’re in Tahiti to knock out a long list of critical projects and errands before sailing off to the Tuamotus. A rare weather window has opened for an eastbound passage, and we don’t want to miss it—which means five days of nonstop action. From diagnosing engine issues and resolving a rigging problem, to securing a new fuel certificate, handling visa and boat extensions, visiting doctors, provisioning, and squeezing in time with friends… can we get it all done in time? #sailinglife, #liveaboard, #tahiti, #tuamotus, #sailingadventure, #boatlife, #cruisinglife, #sailingvlog, #offshoresailing, #weatherwindow, #sailboatlife, #bluewater NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia. So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too! As a viewer, we consider you to be part of our family and look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to comment on our videos and ask questions. We will do our best to answer every correspondence! All we ask is that you have patience with us as we work really hard to improve our camera/video techniques and ability to tell a story. Hopefully, you will be as BLOWN AWAY from watching, as we are in experiencing and producing our adventures! HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US? If you wish to support our video efforts, all we ask is that you SUBSCRIBE, give a THUMBS UP, SHARE our videos with your friends, AND COMMENT! WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET TO KNOW US MORE DEEPLY? Leaping Into Lithium: https://www.practical-sailor.com/marine-electronics/leaping-into-lithium/ Lithium batteries are one of the most popular sailboat upgrades today—but they’re also one of the most misunderstood. In this Practical Sailor Saturday episode, we break down the three biggest mistakes sailors make when installing lithium batteries on sailboats, and why these errors can lead to damaged alternators, shortened battery life, and unexpected electrical failures. This is not a lithium sales pitch. It’s a reality check. We cover: • Why lithium batteries are not a drop-in replacement for lead-acid or AGM • How lithium charging can silently destroy alternators and regulators • Why cold-weather charging permanently damages lithium batteries • The truth about Battery Management Systems (BMS) and what they really protect • When lithium makes sense—and when it absolutely doesn’t If you’re considering a lithium upgrade, already have lithium on your boat, or are trying to decide between lithium and AGM, this video will help you avoid expensive mistakes and design a safer, more reliable electrical system. Topics sailors are searching for: lithium batteries on sailboats lithium vs AGM marine batteries sailboat electrical systems marine lithium battery mistakes alternator overheating lithium boat battery upgrades Subscribe for more Practical Sailor videos focused on real-world boat ownership, maintenance, and systems—without the marketing hype.

Sailing Indonesia | Anambas Islands | Hidden Island Paradise | Liveaboard Sailing Life. Our journey through the Anambas Islands, Indonesia, continues to reveal more hidden gems. Join us on a journey to a remote, scenic island where we explore sustainable living and volunteer opportunities. Witness firsthand a solar installation powering a unique off grid lifestyle, harmonizing with the surrounding forest. This eco friendly initiative showcases practical steps towards a more sustainable future. This week, we are anchored at Pulau Samak. From our anchorage, we decided to explore the island’s famous Moon Rock. Thankfully the climb wasn’t too tough (even though Vee isn’t the biggest fan of climbing 😄). But once we reached the top, the panoramic view over the Anambas islands was absolutely out of this world — turquoise water, untouched islands, and reefs in every direction. Next, we dinghied across to the island opposite us to visit EcoSymbiosis, a small off-grid eco retreat run by Antje and her daughters. Since 2018, they’ve been creating a simple, sustainable space for travelers looking to reconnect with nature. What we loved most was how thoughtfully everything is built — open bungalows without walls, composting toilets, minimal impact living, and a deep respect for the island ecosystem. This is a kind of place where families can slow down and experience island life in its most natural form, one can Detox or apply as a volunteer if it sparks your fancy. Our shakedown takes a dramatic turn as a sleepless stormy night, endless delays, and a Christmas detour all collide just as we’re trying to get Little Nutshell ready for her first North Sea crossing. What should have been a simple systems check becomes a test of patience, weather windows, and sheer determination as we fight to finally point the bow toward Europe. We leave Titchmarsh Marina after barely any sleep and head back out into the river and then the estuary. Overnight, a brutal storm rolls through, and Magnus hardly sleeps—Little Nutshell is still an unknown, and we’re not sure how she’ll behave in the high, gusting winds. Meanwhile, the solar panels still haven’t arrived. They haven’t even left the warehouse, and without them we can’t leave England. Because Titchmarsh doesn’t allow parcel deliveries, we’ll have no choice but to return to Shotley Marina to collect them once they finally ship. And then we wait. Again. Christmas comes and goes before we can make any real progress. After spending time with family, we make the long journey back—multiple trains, delays, buses, the whole lot—returning to Titchmarsh to pick up where we left off. We make our way, again, to Shotley Marina and finally take possession of the solar panels. Magnus temporarily straps them to Nutshell’s coach roof so we can at least make our North Sea crossing. Weather windows are rare and we’ve already missed a few. In between everything else, we squeeze in sewing mosquito covers for the windows—another small but essential job ticked off the list. Finally, we head off on our North Sea Passage, leaving at midnight in below‑freezing temperatures and rough seas. After a very bumpy crossing, we arrive in Nieuwpoort, Belgium, where we attempt to check in using a little‑known bypass Schengen clause. Hope you enjoy the episode. A Ferrari engine for my sailboat? Not really. But the transformation Celina´s engine has gone through is amazing. Countless parts were corroded and the work I put into this engine was a lot. Air grinders, sand blasters, hot air guns and lots of Coca Cola helped to make this engine shine again. #sailing #bluewatersailing #diy #sailboatrestoration #blauwassersegeln #segeln #sailingaroundtheworld

Tekne sayesinde ise ulaşılması zor koylara giderek doğanın tadını en saf haliyle çıkarabilirsiniz. tekne, yat, motoryat, yelkenli, lüks yat, tekne turu, deniz yaşamı, boating, yachtlife, yachting, sailing, boatlife, deniz, marina, kaptan, deniz keyfi, yaz tatili, mavi yolculuk, tatil, keşif, adventure, luxury lifestyle, sea life, ocean vibes, boat tour, yacht tour, travel, keşfet, viral, trending, keşfetteyiz, reels, youtube, shorts, tekne tanıtımı, yat tanıtımı, motoryat tanıtımı, yelkenli tekne, tekne inceleme, boat review, yacht review, denizde yaşam, lüks yaşam, tatil vlog, travel vlog, deniz manzarası, sahil, koylar, turkuaz su, summer vibes tekne, tekne tanıtımı, yat, yat tanıtımı, motoryat, motoryat tanıtımı, yelkenli, yelkenli tekne, boat, boat tour, boat review, yacht, yacht tour, yacht review, yachting, boating, sailing, boatlife, yachtlife, deniz, deniz yaşamı, denizde yaşam, marina, kaptan, mavi yolculuk, yaz tatili, tatil, seyahat, travel, travel vlog, vlog, keşfet, keşfetteyiz, viral, trending, reels, youtube, shorts, lüks yaşam, luxury lifestyle, deniz manzarası, koylar, turkuaz su, summer vibes tekne, yat, motoryat, yelkenli, bot, şişme bot, tekne turu, tekne kiralama, yat kiralama, deniz, deniz keyfi, deniz tutkunları, boat, boating, boatlife, yacht, yachting, yachtlife, sailing, sea life, ocean, marina, liman, kaptan, seyir, denizde yaşam, mavi yolculuk, yaz tatili, tatil, gezi, keşif, adventure, travel, travel vlog, vlog, lüks yaşam, luxury lifestyle, sahil, koylar, turkuaz su, güneş, yaz, summer vibes, keşfet, keşfetteyiz, viral, trending, reels, youtube, shorts #balıktaysanözgürsün #automobile #tekne #tekne #boating #teknedeyaşam #fishing #sailing #olta #deniz #boatlife #balık #balikpapan #balıkavı #balıkavı

It’s haul-out time for ARGO. In this episode we lift ARGO out of the water and onto the hard stand for her annual maintenance. After a good power wash, Jason gets started on what should have been a simple job – changing the sail drive oil. But things quickly take a turn. When the oil comes out milky, it’s a sign every boat owner dreads – water has entered the sail drive, and that usually means an expensive repair. Thankfully we find a fantastic marine mechanic on site who helps track down the problem and get things sorted. While he’s at it, we finally solve a nagging issue we’ve been having with the anodes. Not exactly the start we planned for this haul out… but that’s boat life. In the next episode the real work begins – Jason takes on sanding the hulls himself in preparation for antifoul and Prop Speed. The pressure is on to get a professional result. Thanks for watching. Today was one of those days where I had a plan… and did absolutely none of it. It’s been insanely warm. Around 32 degrees, the warmest it’s been so far. And at first, there was basically no wind at all. Just heat sitting on top of everything. No movement, no airflow, nothing to cool it down. We were barely moving. At some point I changed the sails and adjusted course to more of a beam reach just to get some wind in and create a bit of speed. It pushed me a little too far north, but honestly, I needed it. Even just feeling some wind again made a huge difference. But yeah… the heat completely drained me today. I tried to get going, tried to do things, but at some point I basically just gave up and lay down. It honestly felt like I passed out for a while just because it was too much. So not a very productive day. Tomorrow the plan is simple: wake up earlier, get things done before the heat kicks in, and then survive the rest of the day if needed. It should also be a bit windier, which will help both with speed and just feeling human again. The only downside is that with how slow today was, we’re now a bit behind schedule. It’s starting to look like I might not make it in before Tuesday. Not ideal, but also… that’s sailing. Some days you push forward, some days you just get through. ⚓ Life on the Showgirl is my journey toward one of the toughest solo sailing races on the planet: the Golden Globe Race — sailed solo, non-stop, and without modern technology. Hi and welcome aboard @SailingAstridTheWombat We are Gav and Shezz and two and a half years ago we bought our Beneteau Oceanis 430 sailboat with absolutely no sailing experience and jumped straight into the deep end of liveaboard sailing. Our very first passage was just over 700 nautical miles, launching us headfirst into the world of bluewater cruising, learning to sail, and real life at sea. Since that moment, we’ve been fully immersed in boat life, documenting the journey of turning a production cruising sailboat into a capable, self-sufficient home as we prepare for full-time liveaboard life. From major sailboat upgrades and off-grid power systems to everyday maintenance and skills building, we’re learning what it truly takes to own, sail, and live on a boat while working toward our goal of sailing around the world. If you’re into sailing adventures, beginner sailing, sailboat ownership, cruising lifestyle, and traveling the world by sailboat, our journey is all about real-time learning, ocean freedom, and building the confidence to chase long-term world cruising under sail. In this episode of our liveaboard sailing life, things take an unexpected turn when a routine check leads to a sudden skin cancer diagnosis on my lip. What followed was extensive skin cancer surgery that we never saw coming while living aboard our sailboat. Life as liveaboard sailors preparing to sail around the world is usually filled with adventure, sailing, and freedom—but sometimes the journey throws challenges your way that you simply have to face head-on. Join us as we share this very real and personal chapter of our liveaboard sailing journey. From the shock of hearing the diagnosis, to undergoing skin cancer removal surgery, and finally returning to the boat for recovery, this episode shows the less talked about side of the off-grid sailing lifestyle. Living on a sailboat means adapting quickly, and recovering from surgery while continuing liveaboard boat life definitely tested us. While most of our channel focuses on sailing adventures, cruising life, and preparing our sailboat for long-term world travel, this video highlights how health and real life still happen even when you live on the water. We talk openly about the experience, the surgery, and what recovery looks like when your home is a liveaboard sailboat instead of a house on land. If you love sailing channels, cruising vlogs, liveaboard sailing lifestyle videos, and sailboat life content, this episode gives an honest behind-the-scenes look at life beyond the highlights. Whether you're a beginner sailor dreaming of living on a sailboat, an experienced cruiser, or someone planning sailing around the world, this is part of the reality of pursuing an adventurous life. Our channel follows our journey as liveaboard sailors preparing to sail around the world, upgrading our boat for off-grid sailing, installing solar systems, exploring anchorages, and sharing the everyday ups and downs of sailboat living. From sailing adventures and cruising destinations to boat projects and life lessons, we document the full experience of chasing the dream of world cruising by sailboat. If you enjoy content about liveaboard sailing, cruising life, sailboat adventures, off-grid boat living, and preparing a sailboat for long-distance cruising, make sure to subscribe and follow along as we continue our journey. Topics in this episode include: • Skin cancer diagnosis and surgery • Recovering from surgery while living on a sailboat • Real life challenges of the liveaboard sailing lifestyle • Preparing for sailing around the world • Behind the scenes of off-grid sailboat living Join us as we navigate both the challenges and the adventures of liveaboard sailing life while continuing to chase our dream of sailing around the world. Join us now as we settle into liveaboard life and get our boat ready to take off and sail around the world. As new sailors we want to share all of our learnings and keep it real in our videos. We want to show step by step what it takes to choose a boat, buy the boat and learn how to sail. Our sailing learning curve is steep so come along with us as we learn and grow as liveaboard sailors. We promise you will have a laugh! I'm saving $200K before buying my first sailboat. Here's the full breakdown — why that number, how I'm getting there, what I've sacrificed, and what happens when I hit it. This is the part of the sailing dream nobody talks about. This channel, Captain Seabound, is all about preparing for a life at sea and provides insights on how to buy a boat. Join me as I share my research and experiences on boat life and boating, aiming towards eventually living on a boat. 00:00 – Why $200K is my number 01:00 – The full cost breakdown (boat, refit, emergency fund, operating costs) 02:10 – How I'm actually saving on a normal income 03:00 – Why "just buy a cheaper boat" is bad advice 04:23 – The plan once I hit the goal 05:11 – Why I document the boring part #saving #boatlife #catamaran #dreambig #sailinglife #sailboat #liveaboard #financialfreedom #captainseabound
