We do our first night shift, watch dolphins as they dance in our bow wave, experience our first force 8 storm (that’s 36 knots wind speed) and realise that two girls can achieve pretty much anything. Susan Ann II took everything in her stride and I started to learn to trust in her abilities. Even though living at sea can be difficult at times, the stunning sun rises and sun sets more than make up for it. The Roberts 650 Trawler Yacht is a full displacement, heavily ballasted and stabilized trawler designed and built for long-range cruising. With over 4600 gallons of fuel capacity, you can easily plan over 4500 miles of cruising at 7+ knots. This yacht features three staterooms, all with ensuite heads. The owner's stateroom is full beam. The expansive wheel house has a full suite of electronics including infrared camera and bow/stern thruster controls. The wheel house has a day head and abundant seating. She is powered by two very efficient John Deere 200hp diesel engines. Two Northern Lights generators (20kw and 8kw) provide ship's power while underway and at anchor. The current owner has effectively commissioned the boat and brought her to outstanding condition. Two guys with nothing to do on our vacation during the summer of 2017, decides with no advanced planning to cross the Baltic Sea. Grenada - last stop before Trinidad, where we will hull Aquarius for hurricane season. It was fun couple of days as we visited underwater statue park, although we were not able to find anyone to team up for Grenada - Trinidad passage as there were some cases of piracy in resent past, we still feel that this stop was a success as we visit St. George's and most beautiful Grand Anse Beach. It was a quick trip from Cuttyhunk, through a cut called "Quicks Hole" (with a crazy current), across Vineyard Sound into a little fishing town called Menemsha. We had extremely calm seas and a nice sunny day once the fog lifted. Menemsha (on the Northwest side of Martha's Vineyard) had a few fish markets with amazing and fresh seafood to eat there or bring home and cook yourself. There was a small grocery market as well to replenish our depleted provisions. After transiting the Corinth Canal and sailing under the famous Rion Bridge we are faced with the very unusual entry to Messolonghi. Like threading a needle is how I would describe the channel that has to be navigated very carefully, becoming increasingly more hazardous the closer to the town quay you get. A night of raucous frivolity awaited us, with teenagers in their droves racing around on scooters and in cars through until the early hours! Ithaki on the other hand was beautiful and is where we finally meet up with Carl & Jenny (Carl & Jenny Sailing Adventures) after a 475nm trip which took us 22 days. Sailing around the world on our catamaran has been a spectacular experience. Our Lagoon 440 has had many upgrades along the way - we have really turned her into a world explorer we have come to love. As with all things, one keeps looking at advancements in technology that ensure safety and comfort at sea - Impi is our second catamaran. So - we remain open to look at options to replace Impi - perhaps we will, perhaps we won't - we are always open minded looking at all brands of catamarans and models, however, on paper, it was the recent launch of the LAGOON 50 that took enough of our interest for us to fly over to Cannes. This is NOT a regular 'WALK THROUGH' video although it shows various 'walk through scenes' so please don't tell me we did not cover everything ... this is more about the experience of seeing the boat, meeting many social media friends (which is always special for us - we love meeting the folks that join our channel) - it's about meeting friends and just sharing what we felt to be a great time for us. Sarah gets to practice her windsuring in the awesome bay Vasiliki on the south side of Lefkada. Then we move onto Cephalonia, the less frequented but still just as cool of the Ionian islands. We find a mint spot and stay for TWO whole nights which really gives us time to enjoy and make the most of it. We do find we are always on the move and learnt that missing out on spots is sometimes worth the respose of staying put. As we sail into the Northern Sea of Cortez, we soon realize that we are in for a longer passage than planned… but it’s all good because we hit a fish-catching streak, scoring Dorado and Pacific Sierra, which give us some awesome sushi and ceviche! We also break out our solar food dehydrator to make up some dried fruit. The 67-meter full custom superyacht Seasenxe, built at Benetti’s Livorno shipyard, has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The exterior design is by Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, working with Benetti for the first time, who has successfully interpreted the owner’s ideas. The designer’s personal touch can be seen in many of the boat’s features, not least the high, narrow vertical windows along the side walls, as well as in what he has termed the Benetti Beach Concept: the area in the stern section of the main deck with a swimming pool (10x4m) that can be covered with carbon fiber and teak planks and converted into a basketball court.
