Diesmal segeln wir von Skaeskør nur ein paar Meilen weiter nach Korsør und ein paar Tage später noch weiter in den Norden auf die schöne Insel Samsø. As predicted, the Cape Doctor, Cape Town’s renowned strong, local south-easterly wind came in for the penultimate day of racing at the first event of the 2020 season – the Odzala Discovery Camps 52 SUPER SERIES V&A Waterfront Cape Town regatta – to produce some thrilling racing. With Morgan Larson steering, Jonathan McKee on tactics aided by Alberto Barovier on strategy, Bronenosec won the only race of the day after making the best of a significant wind shift on the first run and choosing the favoured turning mark at the leeward gate. But while the Russian-flagged team ran out winners ahead of Quantum Racing, a fourth for Hasso Plattner’s local favourites on Phoenix ensures the South African team – steered by the hugely experienced Plattner – closes the gap on regatta leaders Azzurra. The defending champions lead into the last day by seven points.

Take a tour of my family's private island and RV park. Many happy times have been shared on this old farm, and we want to give you a little taste of what makes this place so special. This place is really just an old farm on 200 acres of woods, fields, hills, and valleys. The most striking part of the whole place, to me, is the little red cabin situated on an island. My Papa Walter filled the lake, built the island, and constructed the cabin years before I was born. Our stay here was very sentimental because, for the first time ever, we were able to make use of the RV park on the farm. My grandparents made this private RV park to host their many friends that they made while traveling around in their motorhome. It was very fulfilling for this to be our first official stop in our RV. ~ Ben, Tambi, & Molly | L/V BURT | "SAILBOATSTORY | SHORE LEAVE" [ SUPPORT THE CHANNEL ] https://patreon.com/sailboatstory | Join the crew and help keep the cameras rolling! https://paypal.me/sailboatstory | Make a donation and help upgrade our camera gear! In this week episode we spend time in Glada Laxen, Åland, which literally translates to “The Happy Salmon”. The old coastguard station turns out to be a really really nice place to sail to and we can highly recommend going here. While are there, I get time to clean the bottom of the boat, which turns out to be obit of a mission and the girls get some free diving practice, good times.

VIP guests of Ocean Media's Ocean Club were treated to front row seats onboard charter motor yacht A.Q.A. and witnessed a new era in SailGP, as Season 2 returned to Sydney Harbour. The atmosphere on the sidelines was electric as the opening act of Sydney SailGP saw two new teams and old foes clashing on the water for the first event in 2020, in front of a bumper crowd on the shore and on water. Ocean Media for the second year running, was appointed as the Official Sydney SailGP Adrenaline Program Partner, and lead with the prime position for a fantastic day trackside, nestled in the Exclusion Zone. Throughout the day, drinks flowed and delicious food was served as guests enjoyed not only the racing but also the onboard networking. It’s time to make decisions on the modifications required for Nutshell’s galley. We share our thoughts on what we plan on doing to make the galley more useable and functional and a little bit prettier too. Magnus finally finds a solution for the replacement of the morse cable for Wally, our wind steering system, which is a big win for us. The solution only costs a fraction of the price of a ‘real’ replacement cable. We also begin to gather plants which we will bring aboard Nutshell for when we are in the remote Kimberley region of Australia where there are no shops to pick up supplies along the way. We hope you enjoy this episode. Patatas aliñadas is one of Spain’s most delicious and refreshing dishes from the region Andalusia, where the tapas culture originates from. Every tapas bar in Andalusia is not real without ‘Papas Aliñas’. Of course, there is a reason for that… this cold dish is a perfect summer recipe for when the sun hits hard. Similarly to other popular Andalusian specialties, this is a simple and delicious recipe that can be eaten both as a tapa or as a starter. . It’s easy, quick, super healthy and very delicious. Just remember… The truth is that Papas Aliñas have the rule of the three ‘bes’: Buenas, Baratas y Bonita. (good, cheap and beautiful) This recipe of Andalusian dressed potatoes is one of my all-time favorite ways to eat potatoes. What really makes this dish shine is the virgin olive oil and good vinegar, it adds such a rich flavor and keeps the dish well-balanced. Watch the video below on how to easily make these Andalusian dressed potatoes, and enjoy a new way of eating the ¨papas¨. .Hit the Bell Button 🔔 to be informed when the next video comes out. We get Tarka out of the water and get her squared away in the boat yard, but boat yard work is hot, tedious and frustrating! We both get a little moody in the meantime and may take it out on each other and even you, Fry. We do, however get everything done in one week!!! Our fastest yard time ever! Arriving to Highbourne Cay, we are finally in the exquisite Exuma islands, catching a grouper fish on the way. From Cape Eleuthera we have a great sail SW across the deep water to the beautiful shallow blue shoals of the Exuma Islands. On the way, we catch a nice grouper fish for dinner. Our first anchorage is in Highbourne Cay, where we dinghy to see the iguanas in the Allen’s Cays. With a north wind coming, our next anchorage is just south, behind the small Lobster Cay. Next day we have a 20nm downwind sail to Warderick Wells in the Exumas Sea & Land National Park. We have some dramas there with the mooring buoy as we sit out another two days of strong winds. But what a beautiful place to find shelter. 19-24 Jan 2020

We start in our first stop in Malaysia - Puteri Harbour / One 15 Marina. And we find a small hitchhiker who just like us seemed had a tuff night. As we take care of him and check into the country, we explore around the marina. Our stay is not long, but very pleasant and in front of us 170NM in the busiest and most dangerous waters in the world, including night passage, which we not looking forward to. But reaching Port Dickson is not that tuff as it seemed and we happy to come into bustling Admiral Marina. Join us! Thanks so much for watching 🙏 Stay tuned as next Friday 12PM EST we release a new video 🎥 We do our best to keep you entertained and informed and if you find it fun, enjoyable or informative, consider becoming part of our team and ➡️ join us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/svaquarius ➡️ want to support us, but not sure about long term commitment? Our Seychelles Catamaran Sailing trip continues. We cruise our catamaran from St. Anne Marine Park to La Digue, and anchor at Petit Anse La Digue. During the 5 hour crossing from Mahe to La Digue we get the help of some unexpected winds, up to 17 knots, speeding us towards our destination. At La Digue we anchor in some beautiful turqouise waters and go for a snorkel. We spent the night here at Petit Anse La Digue, and the following morning we continue on to explore the island of Felicite. We spent some time at the beach of the Sixth Sense Resort, and then turn the catamaran back around towards Praslin, where we anchor at a beautiful spot called Anse La Farine. Along the way we manage to take some awesome drone shots to really show you the beauty of the Seychelles. Definitely Subscribe to my channel for more travel and adventure sports videos, both in Qatar and abroad. I really enjoy getting to know new people from around the world this way. You can expect Kitesurfing, Paragliding and Paramotoring, Drone videography and in the future hopefully even a live aboard sailboat featuring on the channel!
