** NOW SOLD ** Eau de Vie is a 1997 Beneteau First 33.7. Designed by Berret/Racoupeau, when it was released, this impressive little cruiser racer quickly became one of Beneteau’s biggest success stories. Fitted with a 9/10ths rig with swept back spreaders and all lines leading back to the cockpit, the 33.7 is a delight to sail fully crewed or short handed and was regarded as one of the first French yachts to perform up to standard. Eau de Vie was fitted with new Mylar Tri-Radial mainsail and Genoa in 2018 and her standing rigging was replaced in 2019. The internal volume of this two-cabin layout is impressive and being fitted with gas stove and oven, pressurised hot and cold water, 12v refrigeration and Maxwell electric winch, make her a comfortable coastal cruiser.

Romain Motteau, Deputy CEO: “Aware of the urgency of preserving the planet, we are living through a great cultural change and the new generation expects much of us at the dawn of this new era and these realisations. Our owners are also changing their needs and today expect their boat to be more environmentally responsible, while maintaining a high level of demand in terms of comfort. As part of an external audit, it has been established that 20% of our carbon footprint comes from production and 80% from the use of the boats.” Mathieu Fountaine, Deputy CEO, in charge of the Smart Electric project: "With only one internal combustion engine for 2 electric motor, the Aura 51 is slowly moving towards all-electricity. This Aura 51, the new model from Fountaine-Pajot, differs from her 4,000 predecessors by the new technology she carries. The advances involve the two pods, one under each hull, that propel the boat at the same time as their hydrogenerator is producing electricity, in addition to the energy provided by the solar panels" -- To learn more about the Aura 51 Smart Electric and the environmental commitments of the Fountaine Pajot Group, click here: https://www.fountaine-pajot.com/en/odsea-lab-sustainable-boats/

Trouble is- we were in a pandemic, had a university degree to finish, on a student budget, only had ever sailed dingies, oh and didn’t have a boat. The dream seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, finished our degrees, worked as many hours as physically possible, saved with all our might, got experience and in March 2022 bought our very own sailboat, Teulu. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. First time in Africa! This time a real sailing video. And visits from dolphins and a dove. We sailed from Licata at Sicily, to Monastir in Tunisia, because we needed to go on the hard for some reparations. Siciliy was no option, because they were waaaay to expensive, and we couldn't work on the boat ourselves. So we thought it was a good opportunity to see something of Africa, where we have never been. And nothing better than arriving on your own boat :-) Our website: https://www.anjakeesmaat.com/

#sponsorshipopportunity #boathunting We arrived in Turkey, Bodrum and start our search for our new Ocean Fox. We are hopping to find a bargain, if one exists in the Catamaran world. We are looking for one that needs a lot of love and care so can give it a new life. Just like recycling a boat, so let's see what Turkey has to offer on the catamaran market. We are not sticking to the Lagoon brand, we are very open to anything out there! On this episode we also bring you a little bit of the history in Bodrum and show you the Gulets, the motor sailing Yachts. Gulet, derived from the French golette (or Schooner), is a traditional Turkish broad-beamed wooden coastal sailing vessel with a raised bow, a broad, flat stern, main foremast, and a secondary mast aft. Gulets are particularly good as pleasure sailing vessels because of their broadbeam, which creates expansive deck space. Consider to subscribe to our channel to help us to keep producing these free videos for you! Follow our blog with our daily adventures on Facebook . We post our route everyday, showing you the ups and downs of sailing. An amazing adventure documented every single day. Stop there and leave your comment, we reply every single comment! https://www.facebook.com/sailingoceanfox/ Check the photos on Instagram , plus all the journey. We also have the Instagram stories where we register a few seconds of our day all the time. The best place for you to follow us as it is in real time. You can also choose some official Ocean Fox merch and help to support our journey. https://www.sailingoceanfox.com/ Have a look at the food we eat on board of Ocean Fox. A daily blog of our healthy lifestyle . We eat a Low Carb Mediterranean plant based diet and we just love it. Loads of fresh fish as we catch so much. https://www.facebook.com/healthyonboard/ Please like and share all of that to help us going on this adventure. We are really enjoying this life and sharing everything with you it's been wonderful . Thank you very much, you guys are amazing supporting us with your likes and comments, we really feel that we have a new family out there. Much love Carla & Simon A little bit about us... We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.

In this episode we do some boat repairs. Kevin gets to do some electrical work to fix the fact that the alternator was not charging the batteries during the Biscay Bay crossing. He gets to use the new crimping tool! Kevin also heads up the mast to inspect the rigging and top of the halyards, and to lubricate the mast track for the mainsail cars. The crew explores the food and drinks in La Coruna, Spain, which is part of Galicia. We learn that a primary language here on most signage is actually Galico or Galician, not Spanish, although everyone seems to also understand Spanish. Kirsty leaves the boat because she has to head home to England. We check out the Tower of Hercules, and a castle [Castelo de Santo Anton]. And we prepare for our continued passage toward Muxia, west of La Coruna. Thanks for following! Video captured on Samsung Galaxy S10 and A12 phones, by a GoPro 8 (any underwater shots), and a Mavic Mini 2 drone (air shots). While racing in 44Cup events usually goes to the wire, decided in the last few metres of the final race, this hasn’t been the case this year where the dominant force has been Monaco-based Dutchman Nico Poons and his Charisma team. Winning two bullets from two races on Friday put Charisma into the lead of this 44Cup Portorož World Championship, the pinnacle event of the season for the tweaky high performance one designs. Local Slovenian favourite Igor Lah and his Ceeref powered by Hrastnik 1860 was top scoring boat yesterday, but going into the final day still trailed Charisma by five points, albeit with a more comfortable eight point lead over third-placed Team Aqua.

We finally pull ourselves away from Marina Barre Navidad after nearly a month there. It's an easy 10 mile run up to Tenacatita. It feels great to finally be back on the hook again. This anchorage has to have the most wildlife we have seen. We start our morning with fishing and coffee. We use the drone to scout out a surf break entrance to a mangrove river. It was fun to fly through the mangroves on plane. At the end of the river is a beach front with multiple fun little restaurants. We kick off Bill's B-day celebration with margaritas and beers. After returning to Calico we have dinner on One Life. 0:00 Intro 0:58 Leaving Marina Barre de Navidad 5:13 On the hook in Tenacatita 11:17 Running a surf break into a river 13:18 Running around in the mangroves 15:23 Kicking off Bill's Bday Celebration! 18:23 Exploring the town ~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Enjoying our channel?
