After some very bumpy anchorages, and some strong windy sails we find ourselves at a awesome spot with clear waters and a lovely long sandy beach to stroll along with Buddy and enjoy the waves, while I try and master paddle boarding again! I don't know if it's my newly acquired numb left leg from my spinal injury earlier in the year or I'm literally just this bad, but I fall in more than I stand up! After a rather hit and miss sail along the Spanish Coat to the beautiful archipelago of Tabarca Island, we go for a lovely explore and hike the island where we find a poor baby seagull, one of the oceans totally undervalued and amazing creatures, all wound up and tangled in fishing hooks and line, so we went to work to free it and hopefully help it make a full recovery! We get to sail to a cool little cove this week guys which is so deep and so beautiful, with just a few anchor buoys to tie up to, it was so tranquil! We absolutely loved enjoying all the water and cove had to offer, with lots of sunny warm weather, snorkelling, paddle board, practicing our free diving and hanging out for fun and giggles with the kids and pooch! We've FINALLY set sail guys! Im soooooo excited 🤗 Its been a long hard year on the hard doing oodles of boat work, from fully gel-coating our previously painted boat to new rigging and copper-coat, all while dealing with a MAJOR spinal injury, its been ALOT! But we got through it, and it's paid off, because guys... look where we are! Pickles looking fabulous, sailing fabulous and after this next winter to finish the cockpit and inside, we will be leaving to cross the Atlantic and sail the world!
