Part 2 in the 'Transformation of Little Wing' series showing you how we helped our son restore a 31ft Trimaran that was damaged by a Tornado and needed some TLC after many years in the boatyard. In this episode we repair the last hole in the hull, along with many other little repairs all over the boat. We also uncover rot and delamination in the cockpit area and we make a couple of modifications to the boat, adding trampoline mounts and improving the shape of the outboard mount box. By the end of the video we leave the 'repair' phase behind and enter the 'painting' phase when all repairs have been completed and we can start focusing on sanding and painting. Lezioni di Vela - Manovre - Mollare gli ormeggi - Episodio 07 La manovra giusta per mollare l'ormeggio con una barca a vela è quella pensata e preparata in anticipo dallo skipper valutando spazi, vento e sequenza di manovra. Nel settimo video-episodio di Scuola di VELA vediamo come affrontare la pianificazione e l'uscita dal porto della nostra barca. La manovra giusta per mollare l'ormeggio Le manovre in porto per mollare l'ormeggio sono spesso le più complesse di tutta la crociera a vela, specialmente nel caso di vento, barca a noleggio, e un porto con spazi ristretti. Se si sbaglia qualcosa, si rischia di fare danni ingenti alle altre barche. La manovra giusta per mollare l'ormeggio deve essere preparata dallo skipper, e l'equipaggio deve esserne informato, o per aiutare la manovra o consapevole di non disturbare in questa fase delicata. Verifica dello spazio disponibile nello specchio d'acqua e la direzione del vento Mollare le cime e la trappa sotovento, ovvero quelle "che non lavorano. La trappa deve andare a fondo. Unser Segelboot Squib, ein Catalac 9M, ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Verkleidung hängt teilweise von der Decke, die Farbe blättert ab, die Elektrik auf dem Stand des vorigen Jahrtausends,..... Ein Refit steht an. Doch Broterwerb und Verpflichtungen lassen es nicht zu, monatelang in Griechenland am Boot zu arbeiten. Da wird schon 2018 die Idee geboren Squib nach Wien zu bringen, wo man jederzeit Zugang hat, der Einkauf von Material in der Muttersprache abgewickelt werden kann und alles andere seinen gewohnten Verlauf nimmt. 2021 war es dann endlich soweit, mit zwei generalüberholten Motoren und einem neuen Geräteträger starteten wir Anfang Juli Richtung Südfrankreich.Leider hatten wir für die gesamte Reise nur zwei Monate Zeit, deswegen hieß es die meiste Zeit Strecke machen. Doch manchmal nahmen wir uns die Zeit zu verweilen, uns Orte näher anzuschauen. Wir wollen einmal im Monat für ein Jahr, also von Januar bis Dezember für ein Wochenende im Wald verschwinden. In unterschiedlichen Wäldern und Gegenden Deutschlands, wo es uns eben hinzieht. Die kurzen Episoden, die dabei entstehen, sind eher kontemplativer Natur, ein bisschen Slow-TV Outdoors, mit etwas Musik unterlegt, viel O-Töne und wenig oder kein gesprochenes Wort. Dieser erste Kurzfilm im Januar zeigt eine Übernachtung bei 3 °C im schönen bayrischen Spessart. Es hat tagelang vorher geregnet, und während der Tour regnet es auch ein wenig. Ich teste ein neues Tipi-Zelt für 2 Leute mit Ofen, 3 Leute ohne Ofen. Feuerholz finden wir in einer vom Blitz getroffenen Buche. Es wird lecker gekocht, die Nacht ist kurz, und am nächsten Morgen schnitzen wir einen großen Löffel. Bonjour Les coups de vent à Ajaccio sont impressionnants , surtout avec des vents de sud ouest et une forte houle. Cela crée un ressac puissant au fond de la baie d'Ajaccio et le port Tino Rossi est très vulnérable dans ce cas là. Nous sommes sur le port Charles Ornano au fond de la baie, plus protégé, et au ponton D devant la capitainerie. C'est un bon choix. Mais malgré tout quand la houle arrive ça bouge... Le 16 janvier mail de la capitainerie qui nous annonce de gros vent et forte houle . On se prépare. Il y a eu de la casse. sur le ponton D on a été secoué mais pas de casse sur les bateaux. Ouf... In this episode, I depart San José and make sail NE searching for good anchorages along the route, I start the passage with low wind, but it soon picks up and I have prime sailing conditions which propel me well on my way,

This Lagoon 440 with fly bridge is a fine example of a well-equipped, well-maintained and well-updated cruising catamaran. Her current owners have lovingly maintained her and it shows. The ample cockpit, shaded by the fibreglass hardtop, features a wetbar, and a table with a wraparound sofa. Another great place to relax is the fore deck with brand new trampolines and the wide recessed settee. And let’s not forget of course the fly bridge. All sail-handling lines lead to the bridge and obviously, the skipper has complete visibility in all directions. This cat is very well equipped with a main sail and a furling genoa from 2018, a lazy bag from 2019, two Yanmar diesel engines of 54 hp each, a generator, solar panels, a water maker, a washing machine, complete navigation package including radar, and a life raft for 12 persons. All exterior cushions have been renewed in 2021, as well as the sun shades for the cockpit and the sun screens for all windows. Furthermore, equipped with a: full cockpit enclosure, a bimini from 2019, and a new tender from 2022. Once you step through the sliding door into the saloon of this Lagoon 440 you’ll instantly feel at home. The saloon is surrounded by large windows and features a curved settee with excellent storage underneath. The chart table is strategically positioned forward, and the galley with large work top is located to starboard. Both hulls are identically fitted out feature two cabins with an ensuite head with shower faucet. The matrasses in all 4 cabins have been renewed in 2021. If you are looking for a well-equipped and comfortable family cruising yacht then this Lagoon might be the one for you. “Easy sailing & comfortably cruising” This catamaran has been sold. Enroute, we have to navigate our way through hundreds of huge bulk carrier ships anchored off the Port of Gladstone waiting to be loaded. Fortunately for us these anchored ships tend to attract fish life and we land two good spotted mackerel to reinvigorate our fresh fish supply.
