In this episode of Sailing Safar, I set off solo from the Isle of Gigha, sail across the iconic Sound of Jura, and make my way northeast to Craobh Haven. With a steady breeze and surprisingly calm seas, it’s a wild yet graceful ride through one of Scotland’s most beautiful stretches of water.

In this episode, I depart Campbeltown and sail Safar further north to some of Scotlands best cruising grounds, for the passage the weather is perfect and Safar really gets in her groove.

The adventures continue onboard Safar, with my eldest brother Liam joining me for the 290nm passage from Alicante to Gibraltar, variable conditions were experienced along the route, from lulls of no wind to strong gusts and lightning strikes. When the breeze picked up, Safar made great progress and used every ounce of canvas to propel her to Gibraltar.

In this episode, I rejoin the adventures onboard Safar after months of working away. My younger brother Callum joins me for his first sail on Safar and we depart to the Island of Ibiza where we meet with some friends and experience the madness of Ibiza's nightlife

In this episode, I complete my solo passage to Alicante and unexpectedly arrive for the opening ceremony of The Ocean Race. On passage, conditions were almost perfect with low swell and plenty of breeze to get Safar moving on a broad reach.

In this episode, I depart San José and make sail NE searching for good anchorages along the route, I start the passage with low wind, but it soon picks up and I have prime sailing conditions which propel me well on my way,

In this episode, I rejoin Safar after a 2 month hiatus while I have been at work in the South Pacific. During this time, Safar has also undergone some work to her hull to ensure she's slippy and ready for the fourth coming season. I'm a little rusty, both with my sailing and with my filming, but my skills sharpen throughout the episode and together me and Safar press East into the Med.

In this episode, I undertake my final sail of the season. Unfortunately I need to return to work in order to fund the next set of adventures, so I sail Safar to La Lina, Acaidesa where she'll be later hauled ashore and laid up for a short winter spell.
