I personally believe that Riviera are the undisputed leader in luxury family boats in Australia and a global leader in what they are doing. Build quality, sea keeping and the ease of operating these boats has been developed to such a high level that if you are looking for a workhorse to keep you and your entire family safe for many years to come then it's very hard to pass on a Riv. This 46SMY provides real estate that just isn't possible in a sedan vessel and therefore lends itself towards entertaining larger groups, and staying out for longer periods. But like every boat you do compromise on stability with the extra weight aloft and potential lack of visability from the helm if you're a short arse like me. Riv has very good solutions to all of these compromises which we cover in this video, so please pay attention if you are trying to decide between a flybridge vs sedan or SUV Riv as I filmed this video with the intention of helping you with that decision. Also if you are in another country and you're new to Riviera please feel free to reach out to me via my website should you need to book a consult. These boats are absolutely perfect for boating in the USA, Britain, Sweden, Singapore, New Zealand and other places so I may be able to help you with your decision. Good luck and please enjoy! I thought once we checked in we were done with hard parts of cruising. I thought we were going to get back to our paradise anchorage to get back to the good life....... I thought wrong! Have you ever wondered why, on a boat with three or five engines, the center propeller often spins in the same direction as a single-engine setup? In this video, we’ll explore how rotation patterns differ between even and odd engine configurations. Discover why most propellers are “right-handed,” the historical and mechanical reasons behind this industry standard, and how the central propeller can be a crucial element for optimizing performance. We’ll also discuss why some owners opt for a different pitch, diameter, or even blade count for the central propeller—like a four-blade prop in the middle and three-blade props on the sides—to squeeze out every bit of efficiency. Whether you’re curious about marine engineering or just want to understand the nuances of multi-engine boats, join us as we dive deep into the fascinating world of propeller design. #boatingtips #boat #sailing
We were really impressed with both the accommodation and the price of this catamaran from Foutaine Pajot. Even though its the baby of the range, it still packs in sleeping for up to 8 people and huge amount of deck space that you'd only get on a 45ft plus monohull. Add to that the potential for economical cruising and we can see why cat ownership continues to grow. Huge thanks to Mi Cats for access to the boat, for more information about this and other boats visit the website www.multihull.co.uk or call them on +44 (0) 1489 573 059 #catamarans #fountainepajot #themarinechannel #sibs
