Coppercoat neu - auf Garantie! Und wir stellen auf Trudesign um #segeln #werft

Bom dia von Bord der Suria, nach fast genau drei Jahren gehen wir zum ersten Mal wieder aus dem Wasser. Wir wollen vor der Atlantiküberquerung die Borddurchlässe auf Trudesign umrüsten. Einfacher und günstiger als hier wird es in Zukunft nicht mehr. Beim Hochdruckreinigen kommen viele kleine Löcher im Coppercoat zum Vorschein. Vasile, der Chef von Slick Hull, sagt gleich, dass dies ein Garantiefall ist und wir das Coppercoat komplett neu bekommen. Ein Mann - ein Wort! Wir nutzen die Werftzeit und stürzen uns sofort in die Arbeit. Aber mehr dazu im Video. Before crossing the Atlantic, we want to convert the through-hull fittings to Trudesign. It won’t get any easier or cheaper than this in future. High-pressure washing reveals lots of tiny holes in the Coppercoat. Vasile, the boss of Slick Hull, says straight away that this is a warranty claim and we’ll get the Coppercoat completely redone.
