Renting a good car for a day gives you the freedom to explore the area at your own pace and go & see places not easily reachable by public transport. We had first class service and great cars from KK Leisure Tours & Rent a Car. Our first car was a powerful 4x4 that took us in the heights around Mt Kinabalu. We wanted to see the scenery and swim in the waterfalls of Murug-Turug Eco Tourism. We got another car, a fancy Toyota sedan to drive around KK town, admiring the sunset at Signal Hill Observatory deck, shopping in KK numerous malls and have a great local buffet dinner at QQ Cafe KK afterwards. First flight with my new Mavic 2 Pro over scenic Ventura Marina in 4K 2018, This drone can travel an incredible distance, the farthest I got away from it was just over 3000 feet at 300 foot elevation and from one end of the marina I was able to capture not only the entire marina, but the beach next to it, the mouth of the harbor as well as the next door Ventura Keys housing development. I bought a new drone, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, to replace my Mavic Pro in hopes of getting even more stunning 4K footage. The 3 big selling features on this new Mavic 2 Pro is the Hasselblad Camera with a 1" sensor and the Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance sensors and advanced artificial Intelligence for better autonomous flight and object tracking. The better camera with the 1" sensor should allow me to get much better photos and video in low light situations. The camera takes 20 MP stills vs 12 MP on the original Mavic Pro. The new camera can shoot in10 bit colour which should also allow for more, true to life video with its ability to capture 1 billion colours. DJI claims this new drone had an advanced AI that can track moving objects even when they pass behind other objects as it predicts where the tracked object will come out on the other side and can keep tracking it. The drone will fly autonomously to keep the object in the center of the frame and with its 6 sided omnidirectional sensors, should allow it to fly in places with a lot of trees and other obstructions and can alter it's flight path automatically to avoid each obstacle. It should be a big improvement over the older Mavic Pro and in this video, I will compare them. I will show you some 4K comparison footage from the 2 cameras and some object tracking. This is the foiling TF10 trimaran. A hightech carbon fest, allowing sailors to foil easy from about 8 knots of windspeed. It was designed from scratch as a helluva fun foiling package and we believe that goal has been accomplished! About this video: A small crew from DNA travelled to Barcelona for the new foiling TF10 trimaran to be tested by a jury of 12 European sailing magazines for the 2018 European Yacht of the Year competition - the TF10 is nominated in the category Special Yacht. After the jury testing for EYOTY, we kept on sailing with other media and prospects for their impressions. Our mission to sail the TF10 trimaran in Barcelona was surrounded by turmoil as the local Catalonia region was passing a resolution for independence from Spain at that time. Low flying helicopters and a big presence from the local military police added a dimension for sure. Sailing in indigo blue Mediterranean waters with stunning backgrounds was absolutely fabulous. This video captures some of the sailing experience and as the video clearly shows, we had cloudy and rainy days too. The sun came out as soon as the video team went home. Of course.

A mere two years since we started realizing our lovely G4 concept as the world's first foiling catamaran with basic comfort for ultracool weekend getaways, we went out to St Maarten for sea trials of the first G4 produced. Video was made in the spring of 2015.

It is the end of February. An Eeasterly wind brings a Siberian weather system to our region -nicknamed Beast from the East- and causes chaos and disruption across Europe. Hundreds of flights are cancelled. Trains break down. Motorists find themselves stuck on highways and trapped in frosty conditions. The big chill freezes canal, ponds and lakes. People are skating on the historic canals in Amsterdam. And we go sailing.. With ice already building up around the periphery of lake Markermeer, next to our facility, there is not too much time before the lake will be fully covered in ice. We have a G4 scheduled to leave in a matter of weeks and need to test the latest updates of the automated foil control system. Everything has been dry tested for months and it is time to put it to the real test. The hydraulic oil operating main sheet, traveler and board up and down movement is thick, seals and bushing are stiff and ropes are rigid. After checking all systems, we head out and a blue sky with 18-20 knots of wind should make for a perfect day of sailing. With the chill factor and apparent wind combined, it is mighty cold yet it is all smiles and high fives. There are no other boats on the water and yet we are having great fun. What a wonderful day.

DNA Performance Sailing offer the very fast DNA A-cat for use in the global A-Class competition. This trailer gives an impression of the 2015 World Championship, held in Punta Ala, Italy in September 2015. The tournament showed an epic sailing battle for first place between Glenn Ashby and Mischa Heemskerk, both sailing a DNA A-cat. A-Class catamarans are amongst the fastest single handed racing boats in the world. Most other racing classes are one-design whereas the A-Class is a development class and as a result it has become a pure high-tech boat. The combination of the use of the latest available performance materials and production processes in the series production of both hulls and masts, as well as innovative sail designs, has allowed the A-Class Catamaran to push the boundaries to the point where it is considered by many as Formula One amongst all sailing craft. Speeds close to 30 knots are already recorded.

I did a little whoopsy and when put the coordinates into our plotter to find the town, it was 30nm back the other direction, into the wind and current! Lucky we left 2 days to travel! Exploring Raja Ampat by sailboat means you can peek around every corner and find something stunning. As we had to travel back the wrong way, we were forced to find ourselves an anchorage for the night and discovered one of our favourite anchorages in all of Raja Ampat! Pristine reef in vodka clear water to dive on and a sneaky private beach to relax. This is why we love living on Nandji, discovering these hidden gems that we never knew existed! We are a young couple with a dog, who with no sailing experience, bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We just arrived to Indonesia after cruising the Pacific islands. We departed Australia 12 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some amazing people and experienced cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of no where, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! | Season 3 | Episode 42 Welcome to Season 3 of my channel! On this episode I explore the City of Mariehamn. I got a close as I could to the windjammer POMMERN and tried to imagine around rounding Cape Horn over and over in her years of service as a merchant vessel taking part in the great grain races. Later I found my way to the Åland Maritime Museum and was amazed at how extensive and beautiful this museum is. You can walk through the original "Captains saloon" taken from the doomed ship Herzogin Cecilie as she was slowly sinking off the coast of devon. I was also mesmerized by their authentic pirate flag dating to the 18th century, one of only two original skull & crossbones pirate flags still in existence in the world. Making my back to Arcturus I find Neil has been on "Anchor Watch" all morning as the winds picked up and threatened to break our mooring line, eventually we made a plan and moved the boat down to a safer slip. This season will follow my time on board SV Arcturus as we explore the Åland Islands and beyond. We sail into cities, tie up on small islands, anchor bows to and ride out a blow before heading back to Sweden. I hope you will follow along with us on the trip. We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, fifteen months after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.
