The Danish family of four had worked for years to fulfill their dream of sailing the world for three years. In June 2023, they embarked on the journey of a lifetime and set course for the open seas. It was the culmination of a dream which seemed almost impossible for years, but they made it happen and they are currently sailing under the power of Elvstrøm Sails in French Polynesia. This video was shot and edited by Thomas Fink (www.thomasfink.dk), who joined the family on a part of their adventure in French Polynesia. https://elvstromsails.com/news/video-set-sails-with-skjoldmoeen-in-french-polynesia/

Every now and then, a wild project hits the airwaves of the Internet - and this has to be one such project. A turkish yacht owner wanted his X-Yacht X4-9 to stand out from the crowd, and with the help from airbrush artist Evrim Duyar, it certainly does. The Elvstrøm Sails on the X4-9 have been painted with a special type of paint to make a long-lasting Marvel-themed artwork. https://elvstromsails.com/da/nyheder/34-general-news/1871-the-silver-surfer-an-amazing-art-project-on-sails

The UV-protected Code Permanent is part of the “Code” family, but especially designed to stay up and ready for use all the time! The sail can be hoisted in the harbor and can then be left up all day long, overnight and even for weeks while on your way. The sail has a high clew for better downwind performance and visibility at sea. The sail is used on an AT cable and the furling system is bottom/up. The bottom/up system means that the sail is furled from the bottom and up and therefore reacts immediately when you pull the furler line. Due to the somewhat stiffer material the sail will stay compact and tight when furled in and not in use! Follow us at: https://www.elvstromsails.com
