Argh! We made it to the last day of Galveston's first annual Pirate Fest. It was full of music, food, vendors, sirens and fire dancers. Last night's pub crawl was a success, but today we re headed to Seawolf Park on the island to the festival grounds. The Siren Circus was a good show and the band of pirates played plenty of pirate shanty music all day while everyone had fun dancing. Our main goal with the hardware is to have all the winches in the forward cockpit so that you can easily make any sail adjustments from a single location, and that means we've had to get a little bit creative with the placement of everything. It's all about the details and precision, and it's something you kinda just have to dive into and make little adjustments with trial and error until you get it just right.
