Buying and moving aboard a narrowboat ticked all the boxes for us. It gave us our own offgrid home and floating office allowing us to be creative designing websites and producing awesome content for our clients. Being able to navigate round the British waterways lets us indulge our passions like filming wildlife as we cruise along, what better way heh! This little short is us getting used to our Zcam S6 again and embracing hand held filming with a lovely old cinematographer lens. We are currently on the Oxford canal, about to head onto the river Thames, then making our way to the Kennet & Avon canal system.

In this episode, we sail to the small island of Klein Curacao aka 'Little Curacao'. Here we spend our days scuba diving, exploring and relaxing before we sail back to the mainland. Klein Curacao is known as being a tourist hot spot. Great white sand beaches and clear water for snorkeling but we find it's magic in the history that is scattered about the island. The system consists of an ePropulsion Navy6.0 6Kw EVO motor which is a direct drive brushless motor, so the actual motor is underwater and supposed to be completely silent.. can't wait to test that! In this video, we assess the catamaran for any damage after the squall. We then head to the dock in Uturoa (Raiatea) where we restore the alternating current power supply following the failure of one of the two inverters on board. Rob, Cecilia, and Josh fly back to California, leaving us with the boat! Rob will return in a few weeks to continue our voyage. After a dinghy scouting mission, we then move Amanecer off the dock and into a nice sandy anchorage where we hang with pufferfish, rays, and a shark!
