I had a lot of fun making this video by getting to look back at all the amazing memories we had in Madagascar! After we left Mayotte we made a brief stop in Madagascar as we slowly started making our way south down the Mozambique Channel. The places we visited in Madagascar were out of this world and quickly became some of the most unique and amazing places we have visited - ever. The locals we met were nothing but welcoming and were always smiling. Moramba and Baly Bay must be one of the few places left on Earth for an authentic, tourist free experience. When there's so many thunderstorms in the forecast and the weather predictions keep changing it's extremely hard to plan a passage. After waiting in Spencers Point in the Southern Abacos we finally set sail across to Eleuthera. It ends up being a very late arrival at Egg Island. We arrived to Phuket Yacht Haven initially to check our engine by Volvo Penta, but instead we got more than we bargained for - guest toilet is clogged! Our guest say they have nothing to do with that... What seemed "a quick fix" became a whole day chore... What a mess! Baptiste Garnier’s Eugenia V (FRA) and Remy Gerin’s Faïaoahé (FRA) are still racing, but cannot eclipse Equinoccio’s time after IRC correction. Equinoccio is returning home to Chile after the race, but will be exploring Grenada and the Southern Caribbean before transiting the Panama Canal to return home.
