Départ de la Ciotat, nous avons fait toute la navigation sous voile jusqu’a Carry le Rouet. Notre Dufour 375 remonte très bien le vent, un grand bord sous bâbord amure, un autre sous tribord amure, les préformances m’étonnent, 7 kts vitesse surface, seulement 12 kts de vent réel à 45° du vent. Nous décidons de serrer le vent à 34°pour faire plus de cap en perdant un peu de vitesse. bon voyage avec nous😉

The ballast keel box fabrication continues. After some careful measuring, I fit some supporting plates that will provide fixing points for the keel bolts. Sadly, the purchasing department is having problems supplying the steel needed to fabricate the curved leading edge of the keel box, but, oh well! Elsewhere, the quarterberth cushions near completion. This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. After sailing our 40ft sailboat from France to Spain across The Bay of Biscay we catch our breath in Gijon, Spain before moving on along the Spanish North coast. We suffer an unexpected alarm on the boat that causes us to divert to an unplanned port. The alarm turned out to be caused by the batteries overcharging causing the carbon monoxide alarms to trigger so we had to disable one of our main batteries and continue with less. Before we left we explored the tiny port of Cudillero, a small, picturesque fishing port which sits on the side of a mountain. So, we finally did it. We arrived in a new country! After we got checked in to Corfu, it was time to do some sightseeing! So we decided to leave on a trip around the island, over a 2 day period. Peter had to be back to get on a flight, so we had a tight timescale! The main stop was Palaiokastritsa, an absolutely incredible place, full of things to do and sea...until the hundreds of other tourists arrived by bike, quad, bus, boat, plane, rocket. Então foi muito importante a trocas destes elementos para conseguir colocar o veleiro de volta na água após a pintura de fundo e ficarmos tranquilos com isso!
