Day 12 got off to a slow start, but wow it made up for it! 💦 With a dwindling breeze, sailors were held on shore with a two-hour postponement - a shutdown and sea breeze were on the cards and in true Weymouth style, it delivered! The RS Aero, RS Tera and RS500 all managed to smash out some awesome racing in the fresh breeze. It was a big day in the bay for the RS Aero fleet. Conditions were punchy, sailors had to work really hard off the line and pop out in front to have a chance at making their way to the front of the fleet. The RS Tera and RS500 fleets were racing inside the harbour, and although boat speed was important, poor decisions upwind were high tariff in these big fleets. #rsgames #rssailing #sailitliveitloveit

This Hanse 508 from 2021, is in excellent good condition throughout, has never been chartered, and has low engine hours. The 508 is the refined successor of the successful 505 and has a powerful sail plan, wide and uncluttered decks, an ample cockpit with twin tables and twin steering, a low and un-obstructive coach roof, an electrically operated bathing platform, and a large lazarette. She is very well equipped with an in-mast furling main sail system, fully battened mainsail, furling genoa self-tacker, gennaker, hydraulic backstay tensioner, electric winches, etc. Judel & Vrolijk have designed this 508 with short-handed sailing in mind; everything you need for routine manoeuvres is led to the helm stations. Furthermore equipped with a complete B&G navigation package including radar and AIS, water maker, a 80hp diesel engine, folding prop, bow thruster, new tender with new outboard, life raft, and davits. The solar stern arch with 1.1 Kw solar panels ensures self-sufficiency. The Hanse 508 offers enough headroom and plenty of internal volume thanks to her decent beam and freeboard. She features a vast saloon with an extra double bench with storage space, a linear galley to port, and a navigation corner with swivel chair aft to starboard. The utility room next to the galley houses a Miele washer/dryer and a small dish washer. There are two guest cabins with own head and shower located aft on either side of the companion way. The master cabin is located forward and has a full-size double island bed and a separate bathroom ensuite.
