Ein neuer Morgen in den schwedischen Westschären und leider stand unser Abschied von diesem wunderschönen Segelrevier bevor. Wir mussten uns langsam auf den Rückweg machen und so legten wir am Morgen nach Westen in Richtung der dänischen Insel Læsø ab. Im Schärenfahrwasser war die Stimmung noch gut und so zogen wir eine kleine Bilanz über diesen gelungenen Abschnitt des Törns, bevor wir aus der Abdeckung der Inseln kamen und uns die alte Welle der windigen Tage zuvor zu schaffen zu machen begann. Wir setzten das Groß und ließen uns vom Ostwind zwischen großen Pötten durch eine Reede schieben während der Seegang immer unangenehmer wurde. #timanfaya #lanzarote #canaryislands #sailingcanaryislands After making landfall in Lanzarote, we go exploring straight away to the largest nativity ever and the Timanfaya National Park to see how the volcano impacted the land and how hot the earth still is. To support the local economy, we decided to have a ride on the local camels, in the past, they would have been busy working with the farmers. I met up with my good friend of more than 30 years who was paragliding on the island before heading further South to Playa Papagaya bay. We snorkelled down to the underwater sculpture museum and also tried to get on the beach which was more tricky then we imagined. Finally, we headed off further South to Los Lobos island ( the island of Wolves) which was also quite a challenge to get onshore but we managed and also climbed the top of the volcano.
