It takes a village. Milwaukee Community Sailing Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is on a mission to make Lake Michigan accessible to everyone in the community. Part of that involves owning and maintaining over 60 boats so members can have access to the fleet after passing a basic skills certification. The protagonist in this mission is their fleet of Ensigns. These Ensigns have provided a stable, comfortable platform for hundreds (thousands?) of brand new sailors over the years. But...these days, the fleet's getting a little long in the tooth. So MCSC set out to refit the fleet. The whole community signed up to help. It's a beautiful thing. Enjoy the story.

She is fairly comfortable with 15 to 20 kts of wind. Freshwater capacity to last over 2 weeks and a fuel range of 13 days steaming. About the Boat ''SY Red Current'' is a Southerly 31 with the construction of GRP and rigged as a sloop with Aluminium Mast. Her LOA is 31 feet and she has a beam of 10 feet with a draft of 7 feet. Diego face his fears and go for a night snorkelling on the treacherous coral reef on Moorea. We check out Doctors Cove on the way down and decided to keep moving. Once at Big Geiger Cove we anchored in 20ft of water with 5 scope out and I rowed out our full stern ground tackle to the shore. With Triteia set into the low slow swell we settled in. The shoreside faculties belong to the Ocean Cruising Club and two of their members, also anchored in the cove in a beautiful 1988 Gand Banks, came over and welcomed us and said it would be no problem for us to go ashore and hike out. Everywhere in California the beaches up to the high water mark are PUBLIC BEACHES... always remember that! There are NO PRIVATE BEACHES IN CALIFORNIA. But the land behind the high water mark at this location is a private lease and we thanked them for their hospitality. After a hike up top we explored the rocky coasts by dinghy. Die 58. Regatta um das Blaue Band vom Strelasund im Kuttersegeln fand vom 30.07. bis 01.08. bei strammen Winden statt. Veranstalter war der Seesportclub Hanse e.V. Stralsund, der die Veranstaltung reibungslos leitete. Der Seesportclub Rangsdorf nahm mit `Rangsdorfer` an der Regatta teil und erzielte mit improvisierter Mannschaft den 8. Platz.

Un’escursione in giornata con il trenino del Bernina Italia Svizzera . Partenza da Milano al mattino presto fino a Tirano. Da tiranno si attraversa il confine Italiano per prendere il trenino panoramico del Bernina. La durata del viaggio sul trenino è di circa 2 ore e 30 minuti fino a San Moritz, con un dislivello di oltre 1500 m. Da sé Moris siamo rientrati fino alla funivia del DIAVOLEZZA , Per arrivare fino in vetta a circa 3000 m. Dalì ho effettuato una verticale con una temperatura di 7°.
