Welcome back! This weekend was our first overnighter on Aeolos since Her haulout. Anchoring is a tricky thing for many sailing couples, and we managed very well given it was our first time together and Sara's first time ever! Portland Island, located in the Gulf islands National park is a beautiful island close to home which serves as a great testing ground before setting out on longer distance and duration trips. Biodiversity, Beaches, Cliffs, campground's and multiple solid anchorages make for a stunning and rewarding experience for all who wish to stay here.
