Gennaker segeln und ein Mexican Drop allerdings aus dem Training. Im Rennen ging der etwas flüssiger und schneller und hat dann auch seine Wirkung gehabt :-) Mexican Drop bedeutet, das wir an der Boje in Lee eine Halse fahren und in der Halse den Gennaker runter nehmen.

Cette navigation de 36 heures m'a réconforté sur l’autonomie électrique que fournit le panneau solaire de 400w. Nous finirons ce voyage en arrivant sur une l’île mystérieuse. Finalment descobrim la Cala Biniparratx, una petita cala a Sud de l'illa, on el cos nu de Noemí es fon amb la bellesa del paisatge solitari i la força de la natura en estat pur. We eat a delicious dinner at the famous 'POOP DECK' in Nassau in the Bahamas. We discuss over dinner the effort it took to get US visas and an appointment at the American Embassy in Nassau. We get up early and leave the harbour area of Nassau and head out into choppy waters, experiencing some 'proper' sailing that we felt we hadn't done for a while, Philippa gets soaking wet, after James had told her 'don't worry about the waves', famous last words. We arrive at the Berry islands but after trying to settle we realised it was just far too rough and with some major sailing days ahead of us we decided to pull up the anchor and find a better resting place, we find an amusement park slap bang in the middle of the ocean!! We make landfall in Mexico only to be immediately quarantined onboard. Kazza discovers a long forgotten alcohol stash in the bilge and we devise a plan to remedy the situation before customs arrives on Monday! We raise Taylor's Canadian crew flag, and spend our time drinking Margaritas and Pina Coladas. It's tough but someone has to do it... Before we know it Monday rolls around and we clear customs. I decide to rent a golf cart to go on a taco run where we actually run into a local dude named Juan, who's actually been searching for us. It turns out Juan is not only a Nacho Libre impersonator and Delos Tribe member, but a pretty damn good tour guide also. He takes us on an amazing island adventure filled with turtles, tacos, beaches and of course cerveza!!!!
