It has been 20 years since we sailed our own boat on a regular basis which was a light trimaran. Large catamarans require different techniques and skills. While I sailed and crewed at a very early age, Toni had not and wanted more sailing experience and skills re-enforcement with larger catamarans, so we signed up with Nautilus Sailing in the Bahamas to combine some vacation with some learning and certifications. The experience was great, even I learned new methods of doing various tasks, safer ways of handling the heavy loaded lines, and even some things I have been doing wrong all my sailing life. We are FINALLY finished with all the major jobs that could only be completed with the boat out of the water so we are very happy to get here back were she is happiest - in the water!!
