#182 Il fait froid ! Vous allez me dire, tout est relatif. Froid par rap-port à quoi ou à où ? Je dirais aux 30ºC habituels des Antilles ! De ce fait, les 24º de ce matin nous paraissent frisquets ! La petite dépression de nord y est pour beaucoup et c’est elle aussi qui nous fait patienter la bonne fenêtre. Par conséquence, nouvelle clearance d’entrée que l’on fera suivre rapidement par celle de sortie. Si seulement, toute cette paperasse pouvait être universelle, cela faciliterait grandement le voyage. On s’attarde à apprécier la nature sur terre. Les fleurs, les abeilles. Juste en observant la beauté qui nous entoure. Le temps change, le vent revient, et il est temps de partir ! Les feux de bois qui émanent de terre nous rappellent la Papouasie. Nous longeons Saint Vincent sous un ciel nuageux. Quelques pêcheurs sont dans l’action, chacun avec une technique différente, ils rasent la côte. Derrière eux, la soufrière avec encore les traces de la dernière éruption d’avril 2021. La colonne de cendres et de gaz a atteint les 8 kilomètres de haut le 10 avril et jusqu’à 20 kilomètres les jours suivant. Heureusement aucun mort n’a été à déplorer. Nous arrivons à la pointe nord toujours en nous méfiant des effets venturis. D’ailleurs nous avons comme repère les bateaux qui gitent en avant de nous. Le pré est serré, la mer relativement calme dans le canal, puis c’est la pétole à l’abris de Sainte Lucie. Moteurs, vent de face, grains à 30 nœuds, 30 minutes avant d’arriver à Rodney, mais où est le plaisir ? Nous venons de trouver une satisfaction ! Pile entre Sainte Lucie et la Martinique ! Incroyable ! Nous venons de pêcher un marlin ! Quelle fête ! Mon capitaine est extenué, une vraie bataille pour le remonter à bord. Avec une telle prise, les idées germent et notre capture devient vite la convoitise d’un deal. Mère nature vient de nous offrir de quoi compenser les frais de notre carénage (300 euros). Notre chance retrouvée, nous en profitons illico pour tenter de récupérer l’argent du saidrive inutilisable, acheté quelques semaines plus tôt. Et autant dire que sur ce coup là, lors-que le responsable a commencé à insinuer une manipulation de facture de notre part, la moutarde m’est vite montée au nez ! Faut quand même pas pousser Jacouille dans les orties ! L’animosité s’installe en Martinique, à Sainte-Anne. La chaine mère censée sécuriser les annexes des vols au ponton du village, a été retiré par la mairie. Les plaisanciers ne sont plus les bienve-nues ! Quel dommage !
