3. COMINCIA LA TUA RICERCA DELLA BARCA PERFETTA Nelle prime due puntate siamo riusciti a definire che tipo di barca cercare e quanto possiamo spendere per acquistarla. Oggi cominceremo la ricerca attiva. Capita di innamorarsi a prima vista di una barca in banchina con la scritta “Vendesi”, ma la maggior parte delle volte non è così e ad oggi il metodo più semplice ed utilizzato (e con il quale ho trovato anche entrambe le mie barche) è la ricerca sul web. I siti specializzati sono molti ed offrono la possibilità di fare una selezione quanto più accurata possibile grazie ai parametri di ricerca. E’ anche vero però che l’appoggio di un broker esperto, potrebbe rivelarsi una scelta azzeccata . Molto spesso conoscono barche che non sono ancora sul mercato ed in generale potrà guidarti nella ricerca, sapendosi già ben destreggiare nella giungla delle barche usate. Avere al proprio fianco una persona esperta, soprattutto se sei alle prime esperienze, può rivelarsi fondamentale, quindi non escludere questa opzione, ma ricordati di aggiungere alla lista dei costi di acquisto di cui abbiamo parlato nel secondo video di questa serie, la voce COMMISSIONE BROKER. Tornando a parlare dei siti web, i principali sono Mondial Broker che ammette solo annunci di professionisti, iNautia, e Yachtworld. Come dicevamo tutti questi siti permettono di eseguire una ricerca inserendo dei parametri. Quindi, complice la lista di caratteristiche che abbiamo individuato nel primo video, affineremo la ricerca ed inseriremo il massimo di spesa con il nostro Budget. Quando andrai ad inserire il prezzo massimo della barca nei filtri di ricerca, potrai maggiorarlo di circa il 10/20%. Solitamente le barche usate hanno un margine di trattativa che dipenderà dall’età della barca, ma soprattutto dallo stato di manutenzione, ne parleremo in modo più approfondito nelle prossime puntate. Vi sono anche altri canali meno canonici per cercare la tua futura barca. Ti sembrerà assurdo ma la mia prima imbarcazione Gentilina l’ho trovata su Subito! Quindi prova dare un occhio anche su Market Place ed altri siti di vendita usato generale, soprattutto se stai cercando un natante di piccole dimensioni. Fai però attenzione! Questi annunci sono per la maggior parte fra privati, quindi se sei alle prime armi, ti rimando a quanto detto prima sull’affidarsi ad un venditore professionista, anche se come vedremo più avanti sarà poi un perito a guidarti sulla fase finale dell’acquisto. Before and after footage of the hull of a an Ontario 32 foot sailboat in the Salish Sea, British Columbia. This boat had sat for a year since it's last bottom cleaning. The growth was moderate, probably because it fits pretty snugly in it's slip. Generally the worst growth is on hulls that get more sunlight, so this one was fairly protected. That said, the slip gets quite a lot of current so most of the growth was along the current-facing edges... and boy was it stuck on there good! The owner of this vessel also asked us to retrieve some lost items he had dropped under his boat. The diver found his lost dorade cowl, but weren't able to locate a pry bar which probably sunk into the ooze which coats the ocean floor. No pry bar, but the diver did find some other interesting things... Filmed in Canada on a GoPro Hero 9 in Nanaimo, British Columbia
