This is a really cool sport boat! The Seadoo Wake 210 is a 21’ bowrider with many cool features and a surprisingly good build quality. There are 197 hours on the twin rotax engines with 215hp each (430 total hp) that put the power out through twin jet pumps, making this boat safe for surfing or any on the water activity, and also a good choice for shallow water areas. There’s a wakeboard tower with bimini top and wake board racks. There’s a cockpit table that can be mounted in 3 different places: bow, cockpit, or transom. There’s a Bluetooth stereo with 4 cockpit speakers and 2 tower speakers. The snap out carpets are in great shape and the gelcoat underneath them is also very clean. An actual working sailboat in the 21st century. We loaded our 80-foot steel schooner in Wrangell and hauled about 15,000 pounds of lumber, roofing, and supplies across Southeast Alaska to Port Protection. Most of this load is for a community boardwalk project, along with materials for cabins and homes. Out here, freight is part of life. Supplies don’t just show up easily, and every load takes planning, timing, and a little figuring it out as you go. This run meant using the city crane by the minute, balancing weight across the deck, working around rigging, watching the tides, and making the roughly 50-mile run with a full deck. The Gypsy was designed as a freight-capable sailboat, and this was one of the bigger loads we’ve carried so far. Even with 15,000 pounds on board, she handled it well and ran efficiently all the way over. Day 14. Tired again today, but in a different way. Not from lack of sleep, just that heavy, physical kind of tired where your body feels worn out. Still, we stuck to the routine. Started with yoga, watched a movie, had our daily dance to lift the mood a bit. It helps more than you’d think. Then it was time to actually get some work done. Laptops out, trying to focus. Not always easy when your office is also your bed… naps happen. But I did manage to finish the first draft of my next YouTube video, which felt like a big win. The rest of the day was kind of shaped around what we knew was coming. The wind was supposed to die completely, so we planned everything around that. Toward the evening, it turned into a bit of a waiting game. Just sitting there, watching the wind drop, knowing what was next. When it finally did, we started the engine and began charging the batteries. So the night has been a mix of charging, waiting, and just moving around with whatever little motion is left, hoping for the wind to come back. A quieter kind of day. Day 17 of the 75 Hard Challenge… and today something unexpected happened. Started the day as always — progress photos done, straight into half a litre of water, training kit on and out to the running track. Jen joined me this morning and we pushed through a Couch to 10K session together. I’ve noticed I only really get going towards the end, so I pushed harder on that last lap… and it paid off. This afternoon it’s time for an isotonic workout using the iso bow (home-made by Jen — and just as good as anything you can buy!). Proof you don’t need fancy equipment… just commitment. But the real highlight today? A local woman at the marina stopped me and said she’s been following the challenge on Facebook and feels inspired to join us. That hit differently. This started as a personal challenge… but now it’s helping others take action too.
