The crew navigates strong winds and rain during the haul-out, highlighting the critical role of proper Travel Lift sling placement. As the cold intensifies, they address a strange noise, discovering a nearby boat has dragged its anchor, emphasizing the importance of secure moorings in stormy weather. The episode also features essential boat maintenance, including the successful repair and reinstallation of their Walker Bay dinghy's tubes, a design praised for its dual functionality. A significant upgrade is made to the boat's electrical system with the replacement of an inefficient diode battery isolator with a modern Victron ArgoFet isolator. This repair involves troubleshooting complex wiring, ultimately ensuring the alternator correctly charges the boat's batteries. Beyond the technical aspects, the crew enjoys a delicious swordfish dinner, exploring new flavors and culinary experiences on board. The video concludes with reflections on the realities of boat life, embracing both the unexpected challenges and the rewarding moments of self-sufficiency and problem-solving at sea.

Day 31, Solo NonStop Circumnavigation: My editing explodes as I suit up for an ITCZ squall, as Casper and I make our way east through the Atlantic hurricane season on our Solo Nonstop. I’m starting to really think my wind gage isn’t working. I found moldy dog food. Oh, and two big problems, my rice cooker isn’t working and I broke all my sewing needles. :/ WILL ANSWER ALL COMMENTS WHEN I HAVE SERVICE! ❤️ 🐶 ♋️ The Bravest Dog in the World Is About to Change It. Help Us Get There. I’m Captain Kimmer, Kimmer O’Reilly — sailor, survivor, and founder of a mission that shouldn’t be possible. Two-time blood cancer nearly took my life. When I survived, I expected joy. What came instead was an identity crisis. I didn’t know who I was anymore — just that the old me was gone. Then came Casper — my service dog, my best friend, my reason to fight forward. Now, Casper and I are doing something no one believes can be done: a nonstop solo circumnavigation of the globe… starting from the wrong side. We’re sailing east, into the wind and current, through the Southern Ocean and past the Cape of Good Hope — proving that after cancer, life isn’t over. It can be better than it ever was. But we’re not just breaking records. We’re launching a nonprofit to help cancer survivors rediscover purpose, identity, and joy. This GoFundMe isn’t just to keep our sails full. It’s to build something that lasts long after we return. Donate today — not just to help Casper and me sail around the world, but to help thousands of survivors believe they can start again. Let’s show the world what’s possible. 👉 https://bit.ly/BravestDogInTheWorld 🎼 🎵 MUSIC: 🎵 🎼 INTRO: Song: Chime & Nytrix - RunawayMusic provided by NoCopyrightSoundsFree Download/Stream: http://ncs.io/CN_Runaway

Featuring the McConaghy 68 performance multihull sailing off the coast of Cannes, France in 2025.
This week we finally move onto our mountain property and start settling into life on the ridge. After spending months preparing the land — clearing trees, grading, running utilities, and shaping a flat spot — it feels good to wake up here and actually live on the place we’ve been working on for so long. We get the trailer set up, organize the odds and ends from the campground, set up the girls’ play tent, and begin figuring out our daily rhythm up here. I also take on one important project before winter: tilling and seeding the main flat so we can get grass established and avoid a muddy mess once the cold, wet weather hits. Isabella helped me spread the straw, which made the whole job feel a lot more meaningful. There’s also a fun break from the work as Desiree finishes the girls’ Halloween costumes, and we all head into town as our little “biker gang.” Life on the mountain is starting to take shape, and we’re excited to share what living here actually looks like as we continue building our homestead. New to the channel? We’re Jordan and Desiree, and we’re building our mountain homestead from scratch, documenting every success, mistake, and lesson along the way. 👉 Subscribe and follow our journey! @ProjectAtticus ➤ Love our videos? In this video, we drop the mooring in the SW of Bora Bora and head over to the East side, passing through the most dangerous channel we have ever been in, but we are rewarded by swimming with great sea life. Getting to Heiva from here is quite difficult, but we manage to experience the wildest coprah competition with flying axes and coconut husks. And we run into our favorite resident of Bora Bora. Here are the tracks for the SAFER way to go around the East part of the island: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kSQM4669ROpv3gTmjbtTB_GfxeD355Vr NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia. So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too! As a viewer, we consider you to be part of our family and look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to comment on our videos and ask questions. We will do our best to answer every correspondence! All we ask is that you have patience with us as we work really hard to improve our camera/video techniques and ability to tell a story. Hopefully, you will be as BLOWN AWAY from watching, as we are in experiencing and producing our adventures! HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US? If you wish to support our video efforts, all we ask is that you SUBSCRIBE, give a THUMBS UP, SHARE our videos with your friends, AND COMMENT!

Episode 3 takes you on board the Ocean King Doge 400 “Ocean Angel” just after her appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show, with Katia Damborsky and me showing you the yacht in full—layout, design, engineering and capability. We explore every deck: • the raised aft deck and plunge pool • the enclosed upper-deck dining area and DJ station • the flexible sun-deck design with helm station, bar and second pool • the bridge, Portuguese bow, tender storage and crane • the galley setup for long-range adventure • the crew areas designed for real-world operation • the engine room with CAT C32s, generators and IMO Tier III compliance • the beach club with sauna, shower, crane and tender deployment system Katia also talks through her sea-trial experience from Episode 2 — including RINA classification testing, MARPOL and Tier III emissions, and why these certifications matter for owners who want to cruise places like Norway’s restricted fjords. This yacht is not for sale, but my colleague Gabriele Modica Ragusa of Northrop & Johnson represents Ocean King for new builds — including the Doge and Ducale series. If you’re considering a steel explorer designed for real voyaging, speak to Gabriele.

Punching 25 knots of wind SOUTH down the wild and remote east coast of Australia! From dodging reefs to battling side swell, we share the real and raw side of life aboard our aluminum performance catamaran. Join us as we chase a weather window, push southbound through strong trade winds, and experience the raw beauty (and power!) of Australia’s Coral Sea coast. 📍 Route: Lockhart River → Cape Melville, QLD Chapters 00:00 – Welcome Aboard! 00:45 – Southbound from Lockhart River 04:59 – Weaving Between Reefs & Islands 06:12 – The Trek South Continues 09:01 – Hit by the Side Swell 11:50 – Cape Melville & 25 Knots on the Nose 15:38 – Holding Course in 25 Knots – We Didn’t Lose It! ---------------------------------- 🎉 WANT TO KEEP VIDEOS COMING?
