Caddy-Bett Das Team von videomare stellt in diesem Video keinen Eriba- oder Segelfilm vor, sondern widmet sich dem Caddy, dem Zugfahrzeug des Eribas. Bei Fahrten mit dem Caddy allein bestand bisher keine Möglichkeit zum Übernachten, falls kein Hotel oder eine andere Unterkunft verfügbar war. Die auf dem Markt erhältlichen Campingausstattungen für den Caddy sind vielfältig und kostenintensiv; zudem beeinflussen sie die Fahrzeugnutzung. Ein Umbau zum Mini-Wohnmobil kam nicht infrage, da der Transporter weiterhin regulär genutzt wird. Deshalb wurde eine eigenständige Lösung gewählt. Konzept Das Konzept für den Caddy 5 (Baujahr 2024, Kurzversion) sieht vor, dass alle Sitze im Fahrzeug verbleiben und keine festen Verschraubungen erforderlich sind. Lediglich der Einzelsitz hinter dem Beifahrersitz wurde ausgebaut, um ein E-Bike unterzubringen. Das Einzelbett ist hinter dem Fahrersitz positioniert, während die umgeklappte Rückbank als Mittelteil dient. Die Konstruktion lässt sich auch als Doppelbett umsetzen. Liegefläche Die hintere Liegefläche befindet sich zwischen Heckklappe und Zweiersitzbank. Beide Liegeflächen reichten für eine komfortable Länge jedoch nicht aus. Daher wurde für das Kopfteil eine spezielle Variante entwickelt, bei der das Kopfbrett auf den Stangen der Kopfstützen aufliegt. So ergibt sich eine Liegefläche von 190 x 75 cm. Die Bettkonstruktion kann zusammengeklappt und problemlos verstaut werden. Arbeitsaufwand und Kosten Die Materialkosten für das Einzelbett betragen rund 60 € inklusive Zuschnitt. Der Bau kann von handwerklich erfahrenen Personen an einem Nachmittag umgesetzt werden. Als Matratze eignet sich eine selbst aufblasende Luftmatratze aus dem Campingbereich. Im Praxistest zeigte sich das Bett im Caddy als stabile und funktionale Lösung.

Dernier acte pour le JT officiel du Cannes Yachting Festival. Après six jours d’effervescence, le salon a refermé ses portes ce dimanche 14 septembre, au soir. La météo a joué les divas : samedi, la pluie a parfois vérifié l’étanchéité des bateaux amarrés au Port Canto et au Vieux Port. Mais ce matin, le soleil a repris ses droits, ramenant avec lui une foule compacte de visiteurs venus profiter de la clôture. La journée a débuté à bord du Windelo 54. Gautier Kauffmann, cofondateur et directeur général de Windelo Catamarans, est revenu sur l’ascension rapide de ce chantier innovant et écoresponsable. Marina Jarniat a embarqué à bord du majestueux Sanlorenzo SD 112 « My Way ». De son côté, Brice Lechevalier a rencontré Constance Brément, la future directrice qui prendra bientôt les rênes du Cannes Yachting Festival. Olivier Evain s’est risqué à caresser le Leopard 52 dans le sens du poil. Louis Taurel s’est intéressé au spacieux Prestige M7. With a special note from the chief granting us permission to visit the skull caves, we paddled 2 nautical miles to a sand cay to pick up our guide. He jumped on too, making it three of us in a single kayak — with the bung missing in the front. By the time we reached Little Panasia we were nearly going under. From there, we raced the tide on a scenic journey along sharp limestone cliffs, carved and shaped by the relentless embrace of the sea over countless years. Climbing up through the bush, we reached the hidden skull cave. We never imagined how many human bones would be inside. Their origins are shrouded in mystery — some believe they are remnants of ancestors who fell victim to sorcery, while others suggest they may belong to those consumed in times when cannibalism was still practiced. Intriguingly, many of the lower jaws were missing, perhaps taken as trophies during the days of headhunting, symbols of warriors’ prowess. On the way back, we were offered a ride on one of their traditional sailing canoes while two of our new friends paddled the kayak home. We couldn’t say yes quick enough. Soon we were sculling coconuts and setting off. It was a small canoe, just big enough for four of us. One man stood at the bow calling orders — wind changes, reefs to avoid, when to tack. Another steered at the stern with a massive paddle, half-held with his feet while also pulling ropes to shape the sail. The rest of us rotated bailing as we skimmed so close to the reef, dodging coral heads in the shallows. Back at our boat we jammed until sunset, then farewelled our friends with gifts to thank them for such an incredible day. This is the theme I often am left with on a Saxdor and for a mid sized Adventure Style hull this 340 GTWA is perhaps the most intelligent design on the market today. We are talking 2 cabins with some clever features that allow you to sit up in bad in the aft cabin. A great social space in the cabin that can transform in multiple ways from your go-fast economical commuter into a very pleasant floating island that can serve you in hot or cold climates. Then we get to to the driving experience that is easy, fast enough, predictable and comfortable. This is a boat that you could squeeze into tight spaces around the marina but will also sleep a family of 4! Surre rundt i lokal skjærgård og nyte det enkle og kjente båtlivet. Det slo overhode ikke feil. Været og varmen kom som bestilt og leverte så til de grader. Litt oppgraderinger blir og gjort. Det må til i en vann skjøtt båt!! En plass må man begynne.

Alors que nous levons l’ancre, nous savons que cette traversée ne sera pas sans défis. En naviguant dans ces eaux, nous restons vigilants. La mer Méditerranée est un lieu de passage pour de nombreux migrants, et nous sommes conscients que nous pourrions croiser des embarcations en détresse. Cela nous rappelle l’importance de la solidarité et de l’humanité en ces temps difficiles.Nous profitons de la beauté du paysage, de l’horizon qui se dessine, tout en gardant un œil attentif autour de nous. Nos pensées vont vers ceux qui tentent de faire ce même voyage dans des conditions bien plus précaires. Nous resterons deux jours à Lampedusa avant de reprendre la route pour Malte. Au petit matin, nous apercevons les côtes de Malte se dessiner à l’horizon. C’est un moment magique, où le soleil se lève lentement, illuminant les eaux turquoise qui nous entourent. À notre arrivée, nous sommes impatients d’explorer cette île riche en histoire et en culture. Essa é a 1ª Passagem Noroeste em Solitário da América Latina, a 2ª feminina e 14ª no total. Esses números são baixos, não porque antes era difícil navegar solo entre o gelo marinho, mas porque era impossível. O gelo marinho nunca foi tão raro e frágil, e sua falta também acelera o desequilíbrio climático. Esses são anos cruciais para agirmos grande em defesa da vida humana na Terra. Ainda tenho 2 semanas de navegação pela frente, e agradeço meu time, parceiros @itau e @nttdatabrasil, e vocês por multiplicar essa travessia. This is the 1st solo Northwest Passage from Latin America, the 2nd by a woman and the 14th overall. These numbers are low, not because it was previously difficult to sail solo through the sea ice, but because it was impossible. Sea ice has never been as rare and fragile, and its absence also accelerates climate change. These are crucial years for acting bold in defense of human life on Earth. We join with Bainbridge Island's Eagle Harbor Yacht Club to sail down Puget Sound's Hood Canal, and discover why it's been called "The Forbidden Passage". Highlights include transiting through the world's longest floating drawbridge, orcas (killer whales), encountering nuclear submarines, and overnight stops at Quilcene Bay, Alderbrook Resort and Seabeck.

After 2½ unforgettable months in the Whitsundays, it was finally time to point ARGO north and begin our passage to Townsville. Over 5 days we meandered our way up the coast, treated to an incredible mix of moments – whales breaching nearby, Kym taking the helm as skipper, and the excitement of catching our very first Spanish mackerel (a monster at over a metre long!). With steady winds and some beautiful sails along the way, this leg of the journey was a reminder of why we love life afloat – the surprises, the challenges, and the pure joy of the sea.
