Hi All! This is the first of a three-part series on how to perform a Tune Up on your Porsche 356. The Tune sequence is Valves, then electrical and timing, and then carburetor tuning. In this video, we set the valves. It is a straight forward process, but can be a bit fiddly. I’ll run you through everything you’ll need to get through it pretty quickly. After this video Part 2 will be the electrical tune-up – points, and plugs. Our car is a 1958 Porsche 356A T2 Normal Cabriolet, but this general method can be used on 356s and air cooled VWs. My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. We take a look back at the J Class Regatta that coincided with the 35th America's Cup in June in Bermuda.

Jay Jay is an all wood Dudley Dix design Cape Henry 21. We first spotted her racing off Yarmouth in the OGA regatta and wow she turned heads. Owner Brian Johnson showed us around this classic and told how he took more than three years to build her in the garage of his Essex home.
