After a two year refit Nick Ward invited MCB to take a look at Swift II, his 1982 Twister 28. And what a stunning yacht it now is. Video was shot in the Isle of Wight, Southampton Water, Warsash and a special clip sent through from Hells Mouth in North Wales, where Nick and a changing crew are sailing around the UK with a gang from the Old Gaffers. Sit back and enjoy the full and exclusive story of what is now Britain's Best Twister. Please share and please respect all copyrights

Even if you're not looking to buy a boat - this is one video you should not miss. We spent a day sailing The Solent with owner Anthony Wheaton and in a candid interview told us the story of Aeolus. Why after 15 years of ownership and bring her back to mint condition, the time is right to move on and downsize. This is an amazing look at one of the best classics sailing UK waters. Please share and subscribe. Thanks for watching
Another special story from last years TRAD Fest in Henley UK. Here, owner Graham Mackereth talks about his much loved 30ft racing boat Scolopendra. A big exclusive for MCB channel as we were invited into the fasinating world of Lyndon Yorke. Well known as Britains most eccentric man, he is now almost certainly also Britain's most eccentric sailor. At a secret location on the south coast of England, Lyndon gave us an un-restricted tour of his home, his workshops and the vintage sailing contraptions he treats with an unconditional passion. Plus he gave us a rare view of an amazing moving art instalation that will leave you speechless. As always copyright, Bob Aylott, MCB, Lyndon Yorke and music by Pip and Dave at Musos. Hope you enjoy and please share and ask your friends to Share.
We spent a day sailing with Adrian Chapmanlaw on Tig, his stunning little classic around Poole Harbour in Dorset. Plus we've brought you the footage of passing through the two famous bridges, the Twin Sails and the Old Town Quay Bridge. Another extra in this fantastic day, was drifting by Greenpeace, Rainbow Warrior moored up in Poole Harbour. And WOW what a rig - just amazing. As always would like to thank the owner, Adrian for putting up with the cameras. Please Share - Copyright, Bob Aylott, My Clasic Boat.
Feels a bit like Folkboat month on our channel. But Wow anyone complaining? This exclusive video is real special treat, Yo Ho was in 1948, the first folkboat to be built in the UK. But recently the poor old girl was in a right old state and would have been heading for the scrap heap - if it wasn't for the intervention of boat builder Bernard Bull. Enjoy part one of this fasinating tale and look forward to part two - when we jump onboard and go sailing on the new and restored Yo Ho. It's a little slice of British boating history that has thankfully been saved by one man and his passion for wooden boat. A big thanks to all our viewers for watching the channel. If you'd like your boat to star on the channel - please get back to us. As always please SHARE SHARE and Share. Copyrights My Classic Boat, restoration photos, Bernard Bull
It's one of the UK's best loved traditional boat festivals. Held at Henley of the River Thames, the four day event is a wonderful experience for the whole family. As always copyright Bob Aylott, and whatever your passion, steam or wind take a look and please share. This festival is a gold mine of british eccentricity. Share Share Share. Thanks Bob

Dick Durham reviews Max Liberson's book, The Boat They Laughed At. An epic Atlantic Curcuit in Gloria, a 1974 38ft concrete boat that should have been sent to the crushers rather than sailing over 4.5 k Atlantic miles. We spoke to Dick Durham on Zoom and then Max from his home in middle England. There's only one Max and there's only one book that tells about his love affair with a Ferro-cement Barbara June schooner called Gloria. Once we can get out and back to filming - we shall be sailing with Max on his new boat. An interesting chap, a real classic bloke.
As the UK went into the first lockdown in 2020, sailor and former Yachting World magazine columnist, 70 year old John Passmore headed for the Atlantic Ocean in his 1973 Rival. He left his home port of Walton-on-the- Naze in Essex, headed north, around the top of the Shetland Islands and into the Atlantic Ocean. He isolated for 42 days and travelled over 3600 miles. Before returning to Falmouth for supplies and repairs, he stopped at the Isles of Scilly to write his book. This is a MCB exclusive account of his amazing adventure. (We interviewed John in a Zoom meeting) Please share and ask your friends and their friends to share this incredible tale of Isolation. As always video copyright MCB and John Passmore. And thanks for watching.
Dick Durham, columnist for Yachting Monthly and a senior feature writer for Classic Boat magazine, tells how to commit the perfect murder while on a classic boat. But Why? You may ask. Sit back, relax and watch our latest video. But don't try this at home - it won't work on land. Dick now sails Betty II, an old gaffer that's 100 years old this year. With the thanks of Zoom, we could stay safe by The Solent and interview Dick at his home in Essex. This a fascinating tale from a great story teller and it's our first video of this year. Hope you enjoy. As always copyright MCB (2021), thanks for watching. It's been a strange old time but we're pleased to say, we have many more videos planned this year.
A classic boat with a history is up for sale at a massive knock-down price. Robinson's Golly, a 1974 38ft Ohison once owned by Claire Francis is being sold by the charity Around and Around. Someone, somewhere in the world could be picking up a real bargain. Take a look at our exclusive video and who knows she could have your name on her. Thanks for watching and please share, we'd like to help the charity find the right buyer. It could be one of our viewers.
It's not really your typical classic. But let me confess why I've done a Sadler 29. It might be one day. And her owner, Andy Hardwick is such a nice chap - I just had to go out on Southampton water for a days sail. Oh, another reason, I've heard on the grape-vine, there are business people on the Hamble, who are thinking of reviving the Sadler class. Now wouldn't that be interesting. Anyway - it's good to be back on the channel, this was filmed well before Covid - so sit back and enjoy the Sadler with with Andy. Please share and thanks again for making us the most watched classic boat channel in the world.
We all love breakfast onboard and this is one of my most memorable from 2019. All happened In the company of the colourful Julia Jones, the Yachting Monthly book reviewer and her grandson Bertie, on their classic boat, Peter Duck on an East Coast morning in the UK. We'd like to apologise for the lack of videos over the last few months and can only blame the dreaded Covid 19. Hopefully we shall be back up and running next year. If you'd like your boat to star on our channel please contact Bob Aylott, message on FB or phone 07802 777373. Many thanks and stay safe
