We have Gone with the Wind hauled out at Glades Boat Storage. She gets a fresh coat of topside paint and ablative bottom paint. Shawn repairs some blisters and a poor patch job on the keel. We also install swim platform brackets. Living on Gone with the Wind at the boatyard is tougher than at the marina, but we aren't there long. We get lucky and are able to borrow stairs to get Voodoo on/off the boat. We are Shawn, Jessie, Mojo and Voodoo. These had all been through the wash, with big glops of pine sap remaining. What I did: 1) Put 2.5 gallons of hot tap water in a 5 gallon bucket. 2) Put 2.5 scoops of OxyClean in bucket, stir. 3) Put clothes in bucket. 4) Soak for 6 hours (I occasionally stirred). 5) Start washing machine, set to "hot", and "small load" 6) Add OxyClean, scoop filled to line 3, and regular detergent. 7) Wait till machine fills with water. 8) Add clothes. Abbiamo acquistato un generatore eolico da 500 W a 3 pale da 50 cm. Abbiamo modificato un supporto in acciaio inox già esistente per poter montare l'eolico. Abbiamo fatto passare i cavi di positivo, negativo e il cavo di segnale di ritorno attraverso il supporto, l'albero di mezzana fino a un armadio a poppa. Abbiamo saldato delle prolunghe per arrivar ein sala macchine dove abbiamo installato un regolatore da 700W. Da qui escono il positivo e il negativo che vanno direttamente alle batterie. Going into its final day, this inaugural GC32 World Championship appears to be a two horse race but with five races still to sail, in theory the top 11 teams remain in with a chance of victory. Nonetheless two teams are dominating: Sébastien Schneiter’s crew on Team Tilt holds a two point lead over Jes Gram-Hansen and Rasmus Køstner’s SAP Extreme Sailing Team, in turn with a 14 point cushion to Oman Air in third. Four boats are currently within seven points of the podium’s bottom rung. The Riva del Garda event is the first official GC32 World Championship, featuring the combined foiling catamaran fleets of the GC32 Racing Tour and Extreme Sailing Series. www.gc32worlds.com
