A dramatic opening day at the GC32 Villasimius Cup saw two races held before black clouds descended on the race course causing the wind suddenly to build to 25+ knots from the southwest, kicking up a rough seastate. Deeming it unsafe for the flying catamarans and to avoid damage on this first day, PRO Bill O’Hara called it a day and sent the seven GC32s back into the Marina di Villasimius. The GC32 Villasimius Cup is the fourth and penultimate event of the GC32 Racing Tour 2018 season. Annapolis Yacht Club September 11th. The J-22 Worlds are underway with over 60 boats. And day one turned out to be spot on with four races completed.

Snorkeling off a 'Banca" in the Philippines is a special treat. Our kids really enjoyed learning to 'snorkel' while easily holding onto the outriggers bamboo supports. The clear water and amazing coral gardens gave our kids the best first hand snorkeling experience. Afterwards we had a very special family dinner at the Aysa Premier Suites while watching the Boracay sail boats (paraws) return home to Panay Island for the night. This was one of my most favorite memories of our trip. A truly magical memory!
