The newest in technology for Sports TV Broadcasting. We fit Velo4G cameras to the bikes for the Hammer Series Racing in the Netherlands. Weighing in at less that 180 grams and sending their live TV pictures back to the Outside Broadcast vans via 4G. This one is bittersweet. On one hand, the battery upgrade is a smashing success. Kirk completes the installation of our new battery bank, and we now we have all the juice we need. Nandji is back in the water and its time treat ourselves by having some FUN! Tools Down!! https://www.sailingnandji.com/ In this episode of Sailing Nandji, its tools down! Nandji is back in the water and safely at anchor once again. After spending nearly 3 months on the island of Langkawi, we are yet to see any of island apart from the boatyard. We felt it was time to go explore the island and have a day of enjoyment and try to relax a little! WE hire a car for the day, little red rocket... and rattle our way around the island of Langkawi checking out the sights. We find some amazing beaches, visit waterfalls, temples and then take the famous cable car to the sky bridge up in the mountains for the spectacular views. To finish the big day of touring off, we head to the tourist beach of Langkawi, Pantai Cenang and relax with a beer and the sun setting over the water. A great day off! Thank you to everyone who has watched our videos and contributed to our new engine. It is all because of you legends we have been able to install this brand new engine and re-power Nandji. With all this boat work being complete our vessel is becoming indestructible as we get her ready for our next big trip across the Indian Ocean. With no sailing experience, we bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing to the Pacific! We have since cruised through Vanuatu, the Solomon islands, Papuea New Guinea and Indonesia and finally arrived to the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the next big adventure. Currently on the hard stand, we are re-powering and completing a major refit! The work is now complete and Indonesia here we come! We departed Australia in July 2017 and have since explored some amazing countries, met some beautiful people and experienced so many different and diverse cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! Eleuthera is definitely one of the islands in the Bahamas that is known for having fun surf especially at a spot called Surfer's Beach. We are a little late in the season to have a good chance of getting really good waves but as a mild front came through we were able to take advantage of a 1-hour offshore wind window to catch a few clean waves and we had an absolute blast! From there we sailed our catamaran out of Hatchet Bay and South a bit to a brand new anchorage. Innen erledigen wir viele Kleinigkeiten, bringen die letzten Deckenplatten an, Installieren LED Lichter und schrauben die ersten Holz-Leisten fest. Die große Überraschung ist aber unser Mast. We go over to Seaside Heights Boardwalk and also visit an excellent little seafood restaurant, but the big news is that I get to fly home and see the family again. When I landed in New Orleans, Deb, Whitney, and Swab met me at the airport with a big ole sign welcoming me home. It was great to hug all their necks. Chaz didn't come to the airport because she was over at one of her friend's houses visiting before we move to Florida. As you can imagine, moving at 13 feels life-altering, so we want to allow her that time to say goodbye. When back on board, we install some new bilge pumps. SVDreamChaser had 3 in it, but the third one was not working. The first two did, but if we were going to be away from the boat for some time, I wanted to be very sure about bilge pumps. We ended up installing three new ones to be safe. Our primary is a Rule 2000 gph - https://amzn.to/2EZAiHp Our secondary is an 1100 gallons per hour pump - https://amzn.to/2K4gLtr And our big safety net is a 3700 gallons per hour pump - https://amzn.to/2MQzNG3 We then put in a new primary unit with a smaller Rule that is a lower profile, but I would not recommend this one. Rather than a float switch, it kicks on at a particular frequency, and if it detects water being pumped, it continues, if not it turns off. Objectif de la sortie d'eau 2019 - Faire un trou dans la coque pour mettre la sonde de profondeur - Traitement de la coque acier - Dépose du régulateur d'allure Cette année la sortie commence mal, nous cassons notre régulateur d'allure ! Nous y restons 1 semaine sur le chantier, le carénage le plus court ! Nous utilisons les peintures et produits INTERNATIONAL, nous les trouvons dans la plus part des endroits ! Marans (17) en 2011 réparation de la coque, sortie par grue, Saint Brieuc (22) en 2013 sablage, bon aire de carénage Almérimar (Espagne) en 2016 remise à nu de la coque, très bon shipchandeler sur le chantier et temps sec même en hiver !
