Unsere Leisure 17 wurde ins Wasser gehoben. Jetzt wollen wir den englischen Kimmkieler, welcher einen neuen Motor bekommen hat, zu seinem eigentlichen Hafen überführen. Dazu stellen wir den Mast und nehmen uns die ersten Segelversuche vor. Das klappt soweit alles, bis der neue Motor unter einer Brücke den Geist aufgibt?! Ausserdem erfinden wir den ersten Geschirrsprüler (für unsere Segelreise), den man während des segelns hinter sich im Wasser herziehen kann... We found homeless people on a snowmobile trail in Muskoka, Ontario when riding my 1998 Polaris Indy 440. The homeless lived in a tent all winter and were still there in the spring.

Fitting lapstrake planks is one of those things that you can really only learn first hand. The concept is straight forward but the devil lies in the details and especially in the lines of the boat. Some hull forms are just going to be more difficult to fit and the nature of your planking stock can have a lot to do with it too. The main thing to remember is that you cannot edge set your planks.
