Our family of seven has been working nonstop to get ready to leave port in just a couple of months, but this week brought some of the toughest challenges yet. Mom had to undergo surgery, then was hit with COVID, and just when we thought things were settling down, a surgical complication landed her back in the hospital for days. While Mom recovers, Dad and the crew hold down the fort aboard our floating home, keeping projects moving forward and daily life on track. It's not easy, but this is the reality of preparing for a circumnavigation--family, health, projects, snd everything in between. We share the highs and lows of this lifestyle honestly, and this chapter is no exception. Thank you for all of your support, encouragement, and love as we continue towards our big dream. Follow along as we push through, one step at a time, toward leaving port and chasing the horizon.
