After saying goodbye to our family that have been with us for two months, we're left with an empty boat. A not so friendly visit from the coast guard evicts us from the anchorage and we move on further. We plan to have some fun in this new anchorage however the rain soon puts a dampener on our plans... so we get down and dirty inside the boat and tackle some Phase 1 jobs that have been on our list for a while including our new Bruntons Sigma Drive. Friday June 13th 2020 a little night sailing. Sailed from 5 to about Midnight then slept in the boat in the slip. It started out 5 to 10 mph winds and by 8:00 it was more like 20-25 mph. The weather service was only predicting 10-15 mph. I heaved to cooked up my dinner, spaghettios and tea. Then sailed around a little and headed back to the slip.

Tive a honra de dirigir o Jipe antigão, ele foi me ensinando as manhas e nos divertimos até chegar na fazenda. A Dri quis ir ver os animais fofinhos, e lá fomos nós. Acabou rolando um churrasquinho, mas a essa altura já não estávamos mais filmando, vai ficar na nossa memória apenas! Nach der Hiobs-Botschaft, dass aufgrund von Corona-Hygieneregeln ein "normales" Kranen frühestens im Juli möglich sein würde, haben wir uns mit Skipper Jan von der Marista zusammen getan und einen Kran nur für unsere beiden Yachten bestellt. So konnten wir die behördlichen Bestimmungen problemlos einhalten und unsere Schiffe mit einem knappen Monat Verspätung doch noch ins Wasser bringen. Also wurden die Segelyachten Marista und Mystra Mitte Mai gekrant. Vorher waren allerdings noch allerlei Arbeiten zur Vorbereitung der Aktion durchzuführen. So haben wir unter anderem noch die Starterbatterie eingebaut und den Motor ausgewintert. Nach dem Kranen war dann auch noch Zeit für eine kurze Testfahrt mit der Yacht durchs Hafenbecken. Enquanto estávamos em quarentena, no começo felizes pelo descanso, depois entediados e preocupados pela situação do corona se alastrando, só tinha uma coisa que podíamos fazer o tempo todo que nos fazia parar de psicar com o lockdown: mergulhar! Beber certamente estava na lista, mas mergulho era mais eficiente! Sempre quando mergulhamos, não temos todo o tempo do mundo. Ou são mergulhos programados com tempo cronometrado pelo ar do cilindro, ou são mergulhos de alguns poucos dias no mesmo lugar. Mas mergulhar diariamente duas ou três horas por dia nos deu a chance de conseguir observar em detalhes cada pequeno (e grande) serzinho do fundo do mar! Nossos mergulhos foram organizados por setor, tinha a parte mais perto da praia, a parte do fundão, um coral grandão bem no meio da ancoragem, as cavernas de lagostas perto do aeroporto e milhares de pedras adornadas com lindos corais e peixinhos pelo caminho. Isso só em Brewers Bay! Cheguei ao ponto de escanear longos gramados e observar os micropeixinhos que moravam nele! Crown Bay foi um show à parte! Nos primeiros mergulhos ouvíamos um barulho ensurdecedor de motores, parecia que estavam construindo um prédio no fundo do mar! Era surreal! Depois entendemos que eram as máquinas dos navios do porto. Era quase absurdo mergulhar e ver tanta beleza: peixes de várias espécies, lulas, tubarões, camarões (daqueles vermelhinhos e brancos que só tinha visto em documentários), arraias... e logo ao lado um porto com navios enormes carregado de containers! Parte do encantamento era porque eu estava evoluindo no snorkel. Ficando quase um minuto embaixo d'água, empolgada com isso, assistíamos à vídeoss de técnica de apnéia à noite. Rs A sensação de "voar" no mundo aquático combinada com uma quantidade incrível de belezas para admirar era o antídoto perfeito para a ansiedade de acompanhar as notícias e ver a temoorada de furação cada vez mais perto.
