After almost two months exploring the River Tamar thinking that we were going to settle down there for the winter, we decided to carry on sailing and keep travelling during the winter. We sailed over a hundred nautical miles from Cargreen (a lovely little village up the River Tamar) to Portland Harbour over three days. On the first day we sailed 30nm in 6 hours from Cargreen to Salcombe and we spent the night at anchor in Starehole Bay. The next day we woke up to a beautiful day and sailed 27nm to Brixham which took us 7.5 hours. We stayed two nights on the sailing club pontoon which wasn’t the most comfortable place to be moored to… with a club house full of lovely people. Whilst in Brixham we caught up with a couple we met earlier in the season. After a couple of nights we decided to motor sail to Portland as there wouldn’t be another weather window for at least a week, strong winds were coming and they wouldn't be blowing in our favour. We were both really nervous about this passage as we had to time it right to get around Portland Bill with the best currents. We chose to take the inshore passage, you get a nice view of the lighthouse, the Shambles and the currents are weaker. Apart from the steering ram coming undone (which got us a bit worried as we were in the middle of Lyme Bay) we didn’t have any other problems and made it save and sound to Portland. It took us 11 hours to motor sail 51nm. On this trip we had it all!, rain, sun, rainbows, wind, dolphins… and an incredible sunset as we set anchor for the night. Von Kap Sounion aus durchqueren wir den saronischen Golf Richtung Kanal von Korinth. Zwischenstopps legen wir auf der Insel Aegina und den Diaporesinseln ein.

On a warm beautiful day I visited Neil's harbour in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia ================================================ Back in 2019 I decided I did not want to be a 9 to 5  type guy anymore.  I got fed up with this rat race like routine city life and I got hooked on the idea of sailing and living on a boat full time. But with 0 (zero) expirience that would be difficult to achieve... I took a Transport Canada course and received my first boat license... I watched tons of videos about boats and sailing on youtube and got myself registered with dozen boat related forums and groups on a facebook... In May 2020 I came across a facebook post. Sergey was looking for a crew to bring his boat to the Caribbean. I travelled 1300 km from Montreal to Halifax to join him on his boat. The trip was cancelled two months later for legitimate reasons.  Since I made my way to Nova Scotia I decided to discover this beatiful province before going back to Montreal I have not given up on my dream of sailing. Because of this Corona virus situation in the world It is just put on hold... I will chase my dream sooner or later regardless... ==================================== Ничего вам не продаю. We are very blessed to have Justin as apart of our family. Justin loves running Track, Cross country, and Roller Skating. This past year was very special as he went to the PROM! Watch the video to find out what he thought about that. He is always on the go, and has so many questions about everyday life. Life with Justin is quite the adventure.

In this episode we reach our final (?) destination of the season - The gorgeous Greek Island of Leros - a quirky, unique and undiscovered gem with great anchorages and many marina/port options in Lakki Town - commonly known as ‘the weirdest town in Greece’. Leros is an incredibly interesting place and you could spend a long time getting lost in its wilderness, beaches and history. At 20:45 utc last night Boris contacted his team manager to inform her that he had to go up the mast. Boris had a hook issue with the gennaker and it was giving him problems.... For Boris this is his least favourite job but with just a seasick feeling and a shaky body - he is successful. “It’s not the most fun mission to go up the 29m mast by yourself and in the dark!” Issue solved but lost some miles.

Finally out of of the high pressure and into the Southern Ocean, Boris explain to us the reason why he lost a couple of miles last night.

The fleet are about to Hook into their first Southern ocean ‘train’ . A cold front moving in quickly from the west. This will be a great chance for the foiling boats to stretch their legs
