Bedankt! We could spend years exploring San Blas! Which is why we have so much footage of this beautiful archipelago. In this episode we leave the Coco Banderos Cays and head for Green Island. We were told this is the island where a crocodile hangs out. So we were a little excited to see a wild, salt water croc, but also a little apprehensive about swimming there. After dropping anchor we needed to go out looking for him! We had met a lady in Linton Bay that had been dragged under by the crocodile a few months prior, but managed to escape, so until we were sure of his whereabouts we were not happy to set foot in the water. We searched Green Island and all the surrounding islands for any trace of him, but could not find anything. We did however find a really cute little island to play on called Wasaladup. That evening we met our friends for a sundowner on the beach and Shawn decided to go looking on foot. Still nothing! Although we liked Green Island, not wanting to swim really made our stay there a little boring! We love exploring the reefs and cooling off around the boat. So we decided to move on to another anchorage. Our next anchorage Esnadup was breathtaking! We were able to anchor in an almost fully coral enclosed bay. We were lucky enough to have the place all to ourselves, it was simply stunning! As we put the anchor down we went out on the dinghy exploring. The reef surrounding the islands was quite far out which meant the fish life around them were prolific. They boys were finding crayfish everywhere! When we got back to the boat we realised why we were the only boat there. We were invaded by No-See-ums (Chitras as the locals call them) These are tiny little flying insects that live in the mangroves, you can hardly see them, but boy can they bite! They come in their thousands and invade every inch of the boat. Nowhere is safe! The only way to escape is to close all the hatches and doors and put the air-conditioning on. Which is what we promptly did! Sadly it meant not enjoying the beautiful anchorage, and we still ended up scratching and not sleeping as they were already inside the boat by the time we closed it all up! The next morning there was a bit of a breeze, which blew them away, so we opened up everything, shock out the bedsheets and hoped the wind didn’t die down again. Luckily it didn’t but we were not taking any chances. By sunset Mokara was firmly secured, and we were safely inside! Time to move on! The next morning we lifted anchor and went to Cambombia island. Again the reefs and coral bomies around here were amazing! We had a little difficulty getting the anchor to set, but eventually it worked and we were happy! By the time we set off to explore the weather had turned grey, so all those lovely reefs we spotted on the way in had bad visibility. We went back to the boat and settled down to a family movie and dinner. We stayed a few days and loved the isolation and view of the Panama mainland. Join us for next episode on the San Blas where we sail up to the East Lemon Cays and sail back to Linton Bay in a storm.

-- Credits -- Video by SolidShot Film Productions https://www.solidshot.at/ YouTube Marketing by https://www.promomasters.at/
The most enjoying type of sailing is downwind sailing, an upright boat with high speeds *chefs kiss of approval*. We spend the afternoon at Trial bay, making some small repairs in order to sail again in the morning. We wake early and head off, our engine is squealing at us... the alternator belt? We have a gentle morning with a South-Westerly breeze behind us, as the day progresses it swings South- Easterly and picks up, we fly up the East Coast. Arriving back in Coffs Harbour we get stuck into boat jobs and Soph makes fender covers, the beginning of her side hustle. Thinking of getting some camera gear? This is what we use and would highly recommend these products. If you purchase through these links we will get a small commission which really helps us to keep creating more content like this.
We set out to visit the Bodie Ghost Town north of Mammoth Mountain in our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Amazing vistas of Mono lake and snow covered landscape! We encountered more snow and difficulty on the road than we expected. Afterward we prepared a delicious meal for dinner by the fire place to end the day right.

We squeeze in, and socially distance a couple of cruises in from 2020 while home construction is in full swing.
Ahoy! We've put together another wintery adventure for your viewing pleasure. Watch us make the long climb up the relentless Lion Head winter route towards Mt Washington's summit cone! We ended up climbing about halfway up, conquering the steepest and most technical section of the climb and pushed above tree line to just below the top of Lion Head at which point we made the difficult decision to turn around and make our way back down. Due to unforeseen circumstances with poorly fitting rental boots it became impossible to continue as Morgan quickly developed crippling pain in her feet. Continuing on would have jeopardized our safety in the -35° wind chill conditions especially since the rest of the climb would be entirely exposed. We could not maintain a quick enough pace to keep up with our timeline for summiting. Once the decision was made to turn back we rested for a few minutes to take in the views and mentally prep for the steep descent. Summiting a mountain like Washington is never a 100% guarantee. To put it in perspective, out of 8 summit attempts this season our guide had only summited once. We came across at least one other group on our way down that day who also had to turn back. Whether it be gear malfunctions, a change in the weather conditions, or injuries there are a multitude of situations that are simply out of your control. The most important thing in keeping yourself alive in the mountains is realizing when you need flip that switch in your mind and turn off your immense willpower and determination to summit and turn back. It’s incredibly tough to do when you still feel strong enough to summit, but making that decision warrants the most respect of all and I certainly respect Morgan’s ability to push through the unbearable pain she was experiencing for as long as she did and make it back down safely. Summiting is only a small part of the adventure. We still had an incredible time and got some breathtaking views. It was still worthwhile. We gained some good experience and developed our skills with our mountaineering tools. We came out of this with more than we had when we arrived at the trailhead which is all you can ask for. We will be back... with better boots. 🥾 Photo Cred: Morgan GoPro Footage: Mike/Brendon Music: By the Harbor - Mhern https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/Ax4zvh3DQL/ Some Thing - Rambutan https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/kSXUYCAZKB/ Amber Lights - Chill Cole https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/uOlkWc1BO4/ Biltmore Hills - Sarah, the Illstrumentalist https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/ofXUsFNAaK/ Colours - Torii Wolf https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/gge6dwTWug/ Cupcake Delivery - Dylan Sitts https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/W7PCdYXRPz/

The starboard side is completely dismantled, so now it's v-berth time! The V-berth part of my ptoject should be pretty strait forward and it's time to take care of all the leaks in the deck and time to go after the hatches too. In the colombia 10.7, It's v-berth is the only cabin in the boat theres no afr stateroom on smaller boats like mine many think a v-berth is a little uncomfortible in rough seas but I've always had a for v-berth sleeping. https://www.patreon.com/sailing_samantas https://paypal.me/SailingSamantas?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

Kiting is a technique to used on the downwind leg and is easy to do. Some sailors like to hold the centreboard but I don't recommend it because it shakes the boat too frequently. Hi Guys, Welcome back to the channel, in this vlog I aim to show that it is possible to have a modern and functional galley kitchen on a narrowboat, as well as being able to cook a full Sunday roast in a 3.33 metres squared space. I hope you enjoy! Kayleigh I'm Kayleigh and along with my two dogs Hugo and Coco we will full time on board our 37ft narrowboat Grayswood. After living nearly two years in our self-converted campervan we decided we needed more space. So we decided to purchase a boat after spending some time on our friend’s narrowboat. Grayswood was conveniently located less that 5 minutes from my work and was found kind of by accident. I was visiting a friend who was staying in Aston Marina and whilst we were out walking the dogs, I seen the advert for Grayswood. I said to my friend “that looks a nice boat” and as I said it the marina manager appeared and asked if we would like a look inside. Naturally we did. After looking inside the boat, we made an offer after going back for a second viewing, after some negotiations within a week she was ours pending a survey. She was hauled out the following week and the survey went well. We kept her out on the hard standing for a further six weeks whilst we renovated the insides including fitting a new kitchen and bathroom. I was wrong. There’s more lockers in the cockpit area. Well, they’re more bins than lockers, because they don’t have lids. There’s a line storage locker behind each cockpit seat. And there’s a couple of handy storage bins up next to the cockpit bulkhead, on either side.
This time I’ve managed to capture some footage of Polaris in the sunshine, looking magnificent. A very impressive yacht. 🙂

Does that container ship have two bows? Watch and see how the two container ships pass each other in the North Channel on our Sunset Sail. We raised our sails, cranking the main Sail up 55 ft to the top of the mast and headed towards Fort Sumpter. Our headsail full of gentle breezes and our spirits full of lazy, peaceful thoughts as we watched the pastel sky fade into the night. Most amazing to think that the Harbor Pilots work 24-7 to guide these gianormous container ships in and out of Charleston. Two ships passing in such a narrow channel, keeping between the red and green markers is super neat to see! It looked like possible collision and then they just glide right past each other. What a great day out on the water. Also, nice sunset over our coastal city....birds flying home to roost and low elevation choppers keeping us alert and our eyes sharp and peeled for the next sight to see. Never the same trip twice. So nice!
What a windy afternoon! 10-20 knots and the Dolphin were all over the place. Let's go sailing to Celebrate Life! Happy Birthday Sunset Sail all the way out to Fort Sumpter as the sea fog enveloped The Sullivan's Island Lighthouse. So awesome to see the weather change as the sun set. The winds settled down and the seabirds flew home to roost. The stars came out and we could pick out constellations! Sunset. Twilight. Sailing. Nothing could be better! From dolphins alongside at midship to catching some beautiful rays as we sailed under the bridge....Super day out on the water in Charleston! Untie the lines! Local Captain. Local Adventure. Charleston.
My steering fix doesn’t hold and I lose rudder control again, as I’m approaching a bridge in Miami. I’m forced to cut power and drift through the fixed bridge but my rudder position pushes my stern to starboard and causes me to hit the bridge. It’s slow speed so there’s virtually no damage, but it hurt my soul to watch happen. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/GSI46W0NK90Y?ref_=wl_share

Puig Tommy, a peak in the northern part of Mallorca. At 1104m above mean sea level the view is stunning.
We leave Broome and begin the long journey to Darwin. We’re in a bit of a hurry because we’ve got to make it through the Western Australia border before the chance of an outbreak of COVID in Queensland, which will put us into instant quarantine in Western Australia. We travel through the Kimberley region, with its stunning vistas, and amazing rock formations. Magnus tells a few tales about the history of the area which we travel through.
