All footages of this video were taken on a single dive at Larry's Heaven, located in Triton Bay, West Papua, Indonesia. Larry's Heaven is one of the most popular dive sites in Triton Bay. We were very excited about this dive and as we were just approaching the dive site, a huge pod of dolphins came to welcome us! We knew from that moment it was going to be an epic dive! Perfect conditions, smooth currents, just enough to make all the colorful soft and tubastreas corals open. A sunny day and clear visibility added warm tones to the color palette. Schooling of Fusiliers, Pinjalos, Snappers, colorful Anthias were there to complete the dreamy scenery. The beautiful Blue Ring Angelfish was the cherry on the top! Here is a 4 minute video of a dive that we didn't want to end. It was March 12th 2020 and we were at the end of a 12 days dive trip to remote locations with no internet and oblivious of the chaotic world out of our dreamy bubble. The dive site was named after Larry Smith, a legend who I hadn’t had the opportunity to meet personally but definitely influenced my (and many others) way of diving. He was a pioneer diving in many places in Indonesia and well known for his enthusiasm about the underwater world and charismatic personality. Through my journey in Indonesia I have heard so many stories about this man and I wished I had met him. Diving at Larry's Heaven in such perfect conditions, I finally felt like meeting him ❤️ Larry passed away in 2007, in West Papua. Hope you can enjoy this video as much I enjoyed the dive 🥰 Triton Bay, March 12th 2020. With Dewi Nusantara and Dream Weaver Travel.

A Marshallese Celebration and a sad goodbye We sail up and down Ailuk Lagoon to celebrate a special birthday. With a new yacht arriving, we head to the southern part of the atoll and meet up with the crew from SV Manna. While we are there we meet up with Emily and Pumpkin and get invited to celebrate Emilys birthday. We have just enough time to fit some windsurfing in before the party starts. We then see a good weather window for us to start our trip back to Majuro, so after a fond farewell to Emily and Pumpkin we get ready to leave this beautiful atoll. We are Jo and Rob and we are here to share our sailing adventures with you. In 2016, inspired by the likes of ‘Delos’, ‘Sailing La Vagabonde’ and ‘Gone with The Wynns’, we sold up everything we owned and bought our 40ft, Fountaine Pajot ‘Lipari 41 Evo’ sailing catamaran ‘Double Trouble’. We had no sailing experience whatsoever, so the past few years have been a huge learning curve. We thought it might be fun to document our travels for anyone thinking of following a similar lifestyle. So far we have visited 7 different countries and sailed over 13,000 nautical miles. We have had many unique experiences that would not have been possible in our prior life and we don’t regret a second. We're both super keen on protecting our precious environment, so amongst other things, we both follow a plant based diet. You wont find any fishing footage on this channel! Can you survive 100 Days in a DESERTED ISLAND?? 🏝 3 months stranded in a paradisiac and deserted island with no grocery stores, no internet, no cars and no other people living around, having to catch food in nature and sometimes fight for it with local creatures like sharks. Can you imagine yourself living like that? I know it sounds like a movie story but our friends Rachel and Josh got to actually have this experience during confinement last yeas. Not only did I solve a great spot for the Starting battery shelf to be in the Nav.station but it has come up a treat with beautiful Rosewood knee supports with nice profiled edges. I get the saloon table frame made up and make a start on the joining strut supports and also run through using a new chisel/blade sharpening tool. As mentioned in the intro, this episode is about the real work it takes to get a boat in the water. Plus, Talisman had her mast off for recoating during hurricane season in the Caribbean, and we were so excited to see the results. It seemed like the list of projects never got shorter. For every one we completed, another seemed to take its place. sailing videos, cruising, monohull, oyster, oyster yachts

Welcome to Episode 31 of Carpe Diem Sailing. In this episode I go over dressing appropriately for sailing, in fair weather and foul. I cover sun protection as well as dressing in layers when in adverse weather. I also talk about the various fabrics and materials to use in a layering system that will keep you warm and dry in foul weather. We are finally mobile with our own dinghy as our new electric outboard has arrived. It's opened up a whole new world of exploration around Venice. Boat jobs carry on at a pace. The new Bifacial solar panel arrives, it's a big beast to fit! And the weather is good enough to start getting Fair Isle looking good for the season. We also take a serious look at the issues of migration in the Mediterranean and the implications for sailors. As seamen we all know our first responsibility at sea is to go to the aid of anyone in distress, but politicians don't seem to get this simple fact. Yachtsmen have been threatened with prosecution on the grounds of people smuggling for picking up migrants in trouble at sea. I say we put those politicians in a ribber dinghy for a week at sea and see if they think a passing yacht should help! This is the number we gave in the video: 00334 8651 7161 Call it if you cannot raise the local SAR coastguards, in fact call it anyway, if there's an NGO boat in the region they will be best placed to help, as you can see from the video they are well equipped to deal with this sort of emergency. We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it. Much love

We head to Kelso Reef where we celebrate Joanne's birthday. Kelso Reef is located approximately 50 nautical miles (92km or 57 miles) north of Townsville and is a Green Zone in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (no fishing is allowed). We spend our time diving and snorkelling some of the healthiest and vibrantly coloured coral of the reef. #seawind1260 #kelsoreef #scuba #greatbarrierreef #diving #sailing
The BAVARIA C42 is the logical progression from the BAVARIA C-line, but has its own distinct character. A modern, innovative hull shape with chines and a V-shaped bow developed by BAVARIA YACHTS guarantee both the best sailing performance and an unusually large amount of space below deck. The clever details that BAVARIA YACHTS is known for, both above and below deck, has been further refined in the BAVARIA C42, providing this unusual 12.38m long sailing yacht with the best of the newest innovations in yacht building. C42 Wins European Yacht of the Year Award “And the Winner is …” was the motto for the BAVARIA C42 this Friday, January 22. She won the perhaps most important award in the yachting industry, the EUROPEAN YACHT OF THE YEAR AWARD. You could almost call the BAVARIA C42 used to success. With the EUROPEAN YACHT OF THE YEAR AWARD, the BAVARIA C42 has already won its second award. It was just in December that the BAVARIA C42 was voted Yacht of the Year in France by VOILE magazine. In the official statement, the EYOTY jury, consisting of 15 trade journalists from the 15 largest trade magazines in Europe, said: “Despite strong competitors, the victory of the C42 is convincing in the end. The Bavaria C42 impressed the jury with its high level of comfort and perfect sailing characteristics. It can be sailed fast in all conditions and is easy to control. The C42 also scored with a good price-performance ratio as well as four finishing options and numerous extras.” After six years, in 2015 it was the BAVARIA CRUISER 46, BAVARIA thus wins this great and important award again. And that is something we can all be proud of. We want to say thank you to our team and all of you for the great work that made this success happen! For additional information about this boat or to see our complete inventory of new and used sailboats, catamarans and motoryachts, please visit our website at https://cruisingyachts.net.
The most successful catamaran in her class Conceived by Olivier Poncin and designed by Lasta Design, the new catamaran BALI Catspace combines all the latest innovations in cruising. The integral deck, efficient for sailing, allows you to move smooth around the various spaces, from the aft platform with bench seat to the forward cockpit with lounge and sunbathing area. The full-comfort flybridge is home to an immense and safe relaxation area as well as the helm station designed for single-handed or short-handed use… not to mention the performance and quality that make the Catana group’s range so successful. To view additional details or to see our entire inventory of new and used sailboats and motor yachts, please visit our website at https://cruisingyachts.net
A new dimension of sailing pleasure. The BAVARIA C57 is a pure expression of class, elegance and the finest craftsmanship. With the design and style of a megayacht, it sets new trends and boasts a long waterline which guarantees high basic speeds. More of everything. The BAVARIA C57 offers more space here as well – more comfort, more luxury and therefore more relaxation. We’ve paid great attention to details that feature select, fine, highly unusual materials. The pantry extends across the breadth of the boat, which means an intelligent use of space. Rediscover the pleasure of sailing. The BAVARIA C57 isn’t just impressively large, it sails perfectly too. Standing at either helmstand you can enjoy an exceptional view of the sails and the whole yacht. All of the important navigating instruments are available at both steering pedestals, as is the electrical motor control system. All of the sheets and halyards are fed directly to the 2 x 2 winches right in front of the steering pedestals. A self-tacking jib, larger overlapping genoa, gennaker and Code 0 are all there to help make the sailing great, whatever the conditions. To view additional information about this yacht, or to see all of our new and used boats, please visit our website at https://cruisingyachts.net.
It's finally here! The America's Cup Match started today in a most exciting competition that has had everyone on the edge of their boats. ⛵ Competition between the defender team Emirates Team New Zealand and the contenders Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team has resulted in a tie. The defender team started aggressively as they took the lead for the first race of the day. 🌊 However, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli quickly adapted to the circumstances and on the second race of the day they started off strongly, with some unforced errors by the Emirates Team New Zealand that pushed the distance between competing boats further away. Nonetheless, both teams did an incredible job in this first day of competition of what might just be the toughest sailing competition of the world. Follow the updates of the competition, on @TVNauticalChannel . If you are interested about what happened on this competition, we have covered it entirely.
