Liferaft fails Having caught up with our friends on Pisces 11, we weighed anchor and set off for Gocek. We trouble shoot problems of my flat Bow Thruster battery and then take our liferaft ashore to have its 3 yearly service. It FAILS.. in fact is unservicable so we need to buy another one but at close to $4000NZD its really going to hurt. Thankfully the team at Blues Yachting find us a used newly serviced raft for $1300.. Thanks to our Patreons for helping fund this vital purchase! ( www.patreon.com/freedomfamily ) . Blues Yachting usually have a 7 day turn around but sorted us within the day from their facility in Gocek. They service over 2000 Life Rafts and 2500 fire extinguishers every year. Welcome back! We're still on the beautiful island of Mallorca, on the Northern coast. We're anchored in the anchorage of Sa Colabra, surrounded by sheer rocks and the mouth to a canyon which we go and hike down. We love this spot, it really is incredible, to feel so close to the mountains and sea at the same time. What more could you want! The next day we wake up to some serious swell in the anchorage, so we made our escape fast and find shelter at in the harbour of Soller. We top up a coat of Semco on the decks and continue down to the Western coast of the island, ahead of some strong winds coming. After damaging our props again and replacing our rudders, it's time to take this boat home. The Port engine wont start, battery dies and we call for help again. Then David finally gets his time with Captain Dan. After spending hours with Captain Dan, David finally gets us to our first overnight Anchorage. We are giving away 100% of our YouTube revenues to benefit children and our marine environment and ecology. As we travel around we realize just how blessed we are and just how many children go without even basic needs. In addition as divers and now sailors we see first hand just how bad the marine pollution problem has become. We have many ideas on how we plan on implimenting this goal, but would love to hear from you guys on ideas. Here are some of our brainstorming ideas: Children - health, food, clothing, homelessness and education. Marine / environmental - awareness, education and clean up. For the marine ecology we plan on bring awareness to marine sanctuaries and directly donate as well. We firmly believe that without education and waste management measures, that all the clean up efforts are a quick fix and maybe even a negative yield situation long term. We see it first hand. Best part is, for our viewers, we just need your assistance with likes, views, subscribing and most importantly shares on other social media platforms or with just people in general.
