#MaseratiMulti70 #FastnetRecord Maserati Multi 70 e Giovanni Soldini tagliano il traguardo della rotta originale del Fastnet l’8 maggio alle 19:14:11 GMT (21:14:11 ora italiana), conquistando un nuovo record: 595 miglia da Cowes a Plymouth in 23 ore, 51 minuti e 16 secondi, con una velocità media di 24,94 nodi. Il tempo precedente, di 25 ore, 4 minuti e 18 secondi, era stato fissato dal MOD 70 PowerPlay appena un mese fa, con un velocità media di 23,73 nodi. Il record è in attesa di essere ratificato dal World Sailing Speed Record Council. Il trimarano italiano ha tagliato la linea di partenza, al largo di Cowes, il 7 maggio alle 19:22:55 GMT e si è diretto verso ovest. Il primo tratto nel canale del Solent è stato lento, ma poco dopo si è alzato il vento: «È stata tostissima», racconta Soldini,«arrivando a Lizard Point c’era tantissimo vento: abbiamo tenuto medie di 34/35 nodi per qualche ora ed è stato pazzesco. Da lì abbiamo navigato fino al Fastnet con vento al traverso tra i 25 e 30 nodi. Stamattina abbiamo passato il Fastnet e ritornando verso il traguardo abbiamo incontrato qualche calo di vento imprevisto, ma avevamo accumulato un bel vantaggio durante la notte. Siamo davvero contenti, questa finestra meteo non era perfetta, ma abbiamo voluto tentare lo stesso e ce l’abbiamo fatta!». È tris di vittorie per Soldini e il suo equipaggio, che chiudono con un ricco bottino la stagione di record nella Manica. Il Team italiano è arrivato a Cherbourg, nel nord della Francia, l’11 aprile, pronto a partire in caso si fossero presentate finestre meteo ideali e, in sole 4 settimane, è riuscito a conquistare tutti e tre i record che aveva nel mirino: da Plymouth a La Rochelle (12 ore, 15 minuti, 21 secondi), da Cowes a Dinard (4 ore, 30 minuti, 49 secondi), e la rotta originale del Fastnet (23 ore, 51 minuti e 16 secondi). Al fianco di Giovanni Soldini per questo record, hanno gareggiato a bordo del trimarano Guido Broggi, Carlos Hernandez Robayna, Oliver Herrera Perez, Gerardo Siciliano e Matteo Soldini. Rosana está iniciando aulas de comandar o veleiro somente com as velas. Nesta aula fez o rumo de través e contra vento durante duas horas em velocidade média de 7,5 Km/hora e 7 milhas de percurso. No comando da embarcação é necessário atenção a toda sua volta, na proa, (frente do barco) obstáculos e profundidade do local onde está navegando e atento a tripulação pois ele será o responsável por todos a bordo.

A Savona sono venuta via terra svariate volte perché avevo seguito un corso di barca a vela proprio nei primi anni che mi ero appassionata a questo sport. Mi ricordo che lasciavo gli studi di Centovetrine il Venerdì sera e raggiungevo Savona dove dormivo in barca, la stessa barca che poi, il giorno dopo, si usava per fare lezione. Fu proprio qui che presi i miei primi 30 kn. di vento rafficato da nord che non alzava onda. Fu una lezione molto importante quella, dove imparai un sacco di cose.
